I joined final Fantasy train very late it's a 35 year old franchise and I first played final Fantasy XV which released in 2016 and it was announced in 2006 , xv was the first final fantasy without turn based combat system. I don't like turn based combat system and they dropping it and because of which old final fantasy fans feels betrayed 🥲 I am happy that FFXVI is completely action combat like God of War and Devil may Cry, actually combat designer of Devil may Cry is working on FFXVI

My problems with The Division 1 are not really problems with the game but more problems with the premise of The Division in general. The premise is that you're an embedded sleeper agent for the federal government who has no rules, no oversight, and the only motive The Division has is "restoring order". Which is very vague. Over the course of the game, you don't really do all that much to improve the condition of New York, you kind of just shoot a bunch of people. Not to mention that the original game does not really tell you what's going on very well at all.

honestly that's more an issue with games being shooters, than the plot. every action videogame's problems are usually solved by shooting the bad guys and killing the main boss. it's actually refreshing that in in division 1 they say: you tried what everyone else does, but in reality that's just going to make shit worse and won't fix anything. i have a bigger issue with division 2 where they pretty much forget that lesson AND DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN. if they made a division spin off that's more akin to ready or not, it would be ffantastic (RoN is the game where the entire point is NOT to shoot and rather try to defuse the situations), but problem is that their gameplay is rather niche that it prolly won't be popular.

"your presence is always seen as a good thing" that's not true. the radio host in safehouses always question your intentions. civillians ont he street don't always like you. sometimes telling you to go away, cause if you arrive there's usually a dangerous shootout happening etc. the consequences of like taking down the boss of a faction only causes a second foreman to rise up that has even more harsher methods to get his agenda done and so on. it's never said the division is spotless

and you're not shooting people handling the medical supplies. you're shooting down the people that shot the jtf or took hostages in order to loot the medical supplies

there's also plenty of civilians trying to break into cars or looting stores, that you don't have to interact or shoot down. it's only the ones that have bad intentions that you tend to mow down.

if you read the lore stuff in division 2 it's also pretty much mentioned that the actions of the second wave agents in nyc were pretty much a failure and made things worse

it also doesn't help that the majority of division agents desert their posts or turn on their allies once shit reallys hit the fan. ;D

The Division seems like it would've been better utilized as a hostile faction in a survival shooter, corrupt agents who are just shooting people who they think are rioters.

It just doesn't sit right with me that they're basically shooting up people and not really doing much to help the situation and the game's only statement about that is that "well they're trying really hard. :("

i played the beta (and own/play the game)

Well it was already pretty restrictive, it took them like 1 week of the beta to find and patch out a slide cancel method, but you could do bunny hops

When the game launched if you jump around a corner and try to jump again you lose momentum almost immediately

The other stuff I really honestly don’t mind, I just want me hops

it's ok, can be fun at times but it's very repetitive

and kinda clunky, a little bit

the RTX they added is special though, just wish it wasn't capped to 30fps on PS5 when in RTX mode

but- yeah- as far as RTX goes, it's huge

some of the enviroments look real, with the way the light bounces from surfaces

AI teammates are okay but I would’ve liked more options like specifically coordinating each one, and they’re awful with certain weapon types

its probably because the stutter, its locked to minimun where the fps drops
