so yea, reasonings, 3600 is better for gaming, you can still do production. go micro to save money, youre really only missing out on pcie slots that hardly anyone uses. just get some basic ram, ram is ram. get a ssd to start off so you can put OS on it, adding more storage is STUPID easy and not expensive. grim explained 1660 ti and super are basically the same, so i went with what was the cheapest. case comes with rgb and has good airflow. and id recommend the seasonic psu, higher rated for 10 bucks more

I'd upgrade cpu first but there's no objectively right answer. If you upgrade your gpu first, odds are that will bring the most boost so far, but there will be bottleneck and I just dislike having bottleneck. If You can upgrade one of your parts now and the other later next month or in a couple of months, I'd do CPU/Motherboard first and GPU second. If you put a 2060 on an i3 8100 there will be an average of 25% bottleneck

Do you really want to play on 1440p and higher frame rate? If you are not sure, I'd stick to 1080p and 60fps

the most logical solution there is to get a good quality 1080p monitor, not a 1440 monitor. The higher you go in native resolution the higher and more expensive hardware you need to reach playable frame rates, and that's not a very wise thing to do on a tight budget

@weak girder idk if you know this or not but just in case, the higher the resolution of a game, the lesser frame rate you get. If you got a 4k monitor, for the sake of argument, you would need a VERY powerful gpu and cpu if you want to have a playable frame rate while playing at 4k, you understand this? 1440 is not 4k, but it's higher than the average still. If you got a 1080p monitor you wouldnt need to spend so much on gpu and cpu in order to reach a playable frame rate, that's why 1080p is the best decision as long as you have such a limited budget. If you try to adapt your budget to make sense with a 1440 monitor, youd be thinking about buying a high tier computer, and you know you cant do that with 350usd. If you want to upgrade your pc and your current 1080p monitor has bad colors and quality in general, what i'd do if I was you is selling the 1050ti and the current bad quality 1080p monitor and get a gtx1650 super and a good quality 1080p monitor and you'd have a very nice pc for 1080p and 60fps gaming, which is a very decent platform.

For the most part, 21-24 inch diagonals are reserved for 1080p monitors. This is also the best size range for 1080p, as anything larger will lead to easily-distinguishable pixels when the monitor is looked at up close.
