@ashen ether with SMT ON: It usually helps reduce the chance of getting fps stutters. That said, to Increase the 0.1% or 1% fps (eg 48fps --> 60fps), but the avg fps will remains pretty much the same.
i would say if you dont want to replace your parts often, go for 3500X. 3100 is fine for doing most of the tasks for majority of the game in 2020.

Goth, do you want an HDD or SSD? For SSD id go with a Crucial MX500 or ADATA SU800, for HDD depending on what you want to mainly use it for either a Seagate Baracuda for general use or a Seagate Skyhawk if you mainly use it for multimedia (like movies or saving screen recordings to)
Also, for the earpads, you can propaply find them on aliexpress tho you have a risk of getting a knockoff or being ripped off there so you are on your own risk there
