There are quite a few. dx12 games are pushing more and more. I have 12 cores and bfv in dx12 uses 70% of my cpu when gaming. Thats why i would say "enough" is different. Vermintide 2 by fatshark on steam will fully use 12c/24t if you give it the option too. Just depends on the games
But last gen console dx12 was the push and not dx12 is more centralized while consoles also have high core count amd cpus in them. Wouldnt be suprised seeing 4/4t struggle on newer games more

oh a 7500? I think it will hold pretty well. thats min spec for bfv and Just an example i have my 6600k at 4.5giggly hurtz and a 1060 and on low at 1080p it gets about 130 ish frames on bf1 depending on the game.
