@violet plank sorry for the @ but do you need pcie 4? The 60amp stages on the x470 hero has and will be overkill for any cpu in there. I have an all core oc on my 3950x and my vrams are 40c 45c. The x470 is overkill unless you need pcie 4 or just want the newest. I just recently bought a second x470 hero open box for 120 bucks. Might be worth looking into.
Idk what cpu you are using that you need 90amp power stages but the 60amp design on the x470 is one of the best. You would have to triple core counts to even make the x470 stages start to heat up
