i was modding the visuals of demon's souls on RPCS3 yesterday and one graphical option gave me a green screen right after enabling it

had to hard restart my pc cause it got stuck there

i kept modding and playing different games after that during the day and nothing bad happened

but today i was playing remnant with a friend and the screen suddenly went all green again for 2 seconds and then it came back to normal

id normally think it had nothing to do with the emulator but these are literally the only two times i ever had a green screen on this pc so i am 99% sure it is related

i suggest you pull your ram set it aside for a few minutes to discharge the static electricity then reseat the ram...im thinking you had a critical error in one or more of the bits

believe it or not this works 70% of the time for random foul ups.

also its worth a try if your skeptical...but be sure to turn your PC off and ground yourself temporarily.

Windows key + R > Type control panel > Enter > Category view (upper right corner) > Uninstall a Program (lower left corner) > Uninstall Everything NVIDIA related.
Download GTX 1660 drivers from here and install it (if that's the gpu you have, i cant remember exactly) https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/162105/en-us
Try your games again and if the problem persists, respond to their email saying that you just did it but the problem persists.
The previous questions they asked you about it starting happening all of the sudden and if there was a windows update and stuff only you can answer.

as far as i am concerned, performance issues should be expected if the temperatures raise beyond 85c

if the game works properly now and the disk usage isnt 100% like before, then that was most likely it. I saw you had a lot of programs running in the background when i checked your pc yesterday so maybe some of them were consuming the disk a lot. Make sure next time to properly select what programs you want to keep running in the background

No, it's really not that. Dual channel increases the performance but wont magically make it go from 20fps to 150fps, no offense to everybody that suggested that, but BFV is not unplayable in single channel. You can get over 60 that way.

and I realised my fps goes down under pressure. as I said, in smaller game modes its not a problem 60fps. but with bigger game modes its a nightmare

Yeah I have the Arctis 7 as well. I’m not a huge audio nerd so they’re perfect for the games I play and listening to music. I’m sure audio technicas would be better but they’re also way more expensive usually

Hi everyone! I have a Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 2060 Super and 2x8gb HyperX Fury DDR4 3000mhz. On BF1 I'm reaching 80 fps with settings on ultra, but I think I should be getting more than that. Any ideas? (I'm kind of new to pc gaming, so I dont know too much about settings haHAA )

i only know that bfv runs from 80 to 110fps on 1080p with your cpu and gpu with rtx off on ultra settings
