@digital hill Yeah, XMP is an overclocking profile, I don't have any problems at 3200mhz though (also B450 and Ryzen 3600), maybe you're really unlucky with your ram or something.

They can only guarantee till the max speed that both the CPU (3200mhz in case of the 3600) and the motherboard (in my case 2933mhz) support. Anything past that depends on how far you can push your ram with XMP or a manual overclock.

@empty egret try checking if your RAM is running in dual channel, this game hates single channel

i have a gtx1660, an i5 9400F, and 16 gigs of ram. Can’t really see much differences between medium and low except in medium, middle ground is cleaner and giving more texture
Still getting 130fps so I’m happy with that. At least it gives me 1.5x as much as kills compared to Future Frames Rendering ON

Both. You forgot the CPU tho. In extreme cases, like pairing a 2080ti with a intel core m3 (found on latte panda) wouldn’t help gaining the frames because of bottlenecking
Think about this, you wanted to get the water out from your water bottle. The base of the water bottle is your CPU (or GPU) and the neck of the bottle is the GPU (or CPU), you tipped be water bottle upside down. The water that came out from the bottle is the “frames”.
As you can see, you cannot get the water out as quick as you intended to
And for the monitor is the container you wanna catch the water in to. It has the capacity of capturing 75 frames (Hz) per second but your water (frames generated) came out as 120 frames (hz). The extra water will spill over and your container will not be able to get more than that
Which means you can get 75hz maximum no matter what (unless you overclock it)
