Yeah, they've gone from completely underpowered trash to a GPU claimed to be more powerful than an RTX2080 super and Zen 2 based CPU. Still 12Tflops is too vague to determine anything, the GPU could end up way weaker than claimed and not much is said about anything really.

Some sites do it where I live, but it's way more expensive because you're forced to get all the parts from that one site (and others are often way cheaper) and they also charge an additional fee to put it together.

For example: buying parts from Germany and doing it myself ended up almost 300eur cheaper than letting a local Belgian site put it together for me.

@gloomy gyro AMD recommends a 600W PSU btw, but if the 550W one is of decent quality you'll be perfectly fine. They do the same for the 5700XT and that uses a quite bit more power than a regular 5700.

If you were to overclock a Navi 10 chip like the 5700XT until it consumes 300W you would probably not even gain 15% more performance compared to the 5700XT because power draw does not increase linear with performance.

If you were to make a bigger RDNA1 Navi chip with increased core count and set clocks in the efficient 1600MHz range, a 4096 core 1st gen Navi consuming 300W should be about <10% ahead of the 2080Ti.

Yeah, im too. a 1050ti gets 45-70fps depending on if something is happening or not. a regular 1050 is fucked anyway, because it only has 2GB of vram
