well 2 months ago i was playing with 2400Mhz 8gb ram on high settings with with no fps drops or anything it was very very smooth but now i had very big fps drops sometimes the game just froze and all that stuff even if i tried to play on low settings
now that i oc to 2800Mhz it runes much better on middle settings but still a bit fps drops

Hey guys, I seem to be having a common problem that none of the fixes have worked.
I go to launch via origin, it starts to launch, get a few seconds of loading and then the window just disappears.
I've uninstalled both origin and BFV. Run as admin. Cleared the cache files. Changed some dx12 settings outside the game. Attempted to repair the game...nothing's working. Anyone have any thoughts?

@crude osprey if you have a corrupt registry path or file you may have to re-install windows. If that doesnt work you may have to re-install using what is called a "clean install? meaning you change the name of the game file path like just add the word "my" to the path.

This seems to have happened after i did a clean install of W10. I formatted all my drives and basically started from scratch because I was having freezing issues I couldn't seem to figure out. I think once I reinstalled bfv it just wouldn't launch

new format will still have old files
the worst possible scenario would be for you to totally "scrub" your hard drive. then it will be clean as new....but that takes hours to erase everything clean.
there are a few free programs online that does that.

Well, let me tell you what I did, as I'm still a noob at PC. When I reinstalled windows I did a clean install, media creation tool and all. I have the OS on a 250gb SSD. After that it wouldn't see my 1tb ssd where my games were so I just formatted it and started reinstalling them.
When I uninstalled origin and BFV I used Revo uninstaller which did scan registry and deleted errors. So just to be sure I used CC after that.
Then I reinstalled them both but still no luck

I know one solution people had luck with was opening the profilesave file and changing dx12 settings (rtx off) was one. But now that I've reinstalled, that file seems not to be there, I'm assuming because the game hasn't technically run yet
