PS5 gpu on par with RTX 2070

microsoft or sony should give der8aurer an unlocked console and let him play with the clock speeds

The console hasn't even really be officially announced
Also it only shows the final score so you can get carried by a CPU
So bad leak
microsoft said the xbox will have an 8-core Zen 2 CPU, they didn't share clock speeds though
considering how power efficient 7nm is, it could be 3+ GHz
Don't both the XB1 and PS4 use an 8 core FX CPU
That is garbage since it was already garbage
then they power limited it
yeah
They aren't going to have a 300w+ console
any generation Ryzen CPU would be a massive improvement over the Jaguar CPU current consoles use
yeah I think they'll only have the CPU limit to 25-30W and have the GPU at around 150W

microsoft said their new console will have NVMe SSD as virtual ram
inb4 the consoles launch with only 500GB storage

let's say the consoles retail at $500 and can really play games at 120 fps, do you think a lot of budget oriented PC gamers will move onto the new consoles?
Wait, you wanna say nvme benefits in games and oc startup?

1-3 seconds tops
Will PCI-E 4.0 change much?
nvme for games was typically less than 1 second difference in loads
$50

mfw you laugh at consoles potentially launching with only 500GB but you run a 500GB ssd in your pc
same here, at least its easy to upgrade
yes...I run a 500gb ssd for my OS drive and a couple games then have two 1tb hdds for storage...whats your point?
@prime jasper Coming from console myself, you can literally run an external storage unit from a console while still using the HDD inside the xbox/playstation
If people are such Pc elitist and only support PC as a whole, not supporting anything else, they need a reality check, or need their ego fixed.
consoles are fine...they can be used as monitor stands
if youre spending 3k on a pc youre doing it wrong
or buying everything in Australia
Dive need to get there shit together my game keeps on crashing
and getting whats basically a macbook from 2011
yes
Ok so realistically for me that isn't as much as it sounds
ยฃ1700
And like $2100 USD so I don't see the big deal that it is spending that amount
you can buy a console for less
thats like 2080ti and 360mm aio money
and play the same games
Yes
ngl i don't notice a big difference in 60fps vs 144fps
and most people do not have that sort of money just sitting there
neither do most of us burger munchers
just stop being poor bro
720p 30 fps
pc mustard race

Well now
1080p 60fps vs 720p 30fps is where I can tell the difference
What about FPS? Seems like 60 to me but idk
only console that hits 60 fps is the One X, but it gets dips to the low 50s commonly
its alright
PS4 hits 60fps lul
if you dont care about graphics etc
one x has hdr and freesync at least
some people get home from work, sit in the couch for an hour playing a game they bought, thats it
My Xbox has turned into nothing but a streaming box.
^
Xbox has torrent capability afaik
Sold Red Dead 2
PS4 hits 45 fps on BFV at 900p, PS4 Pro around 50-55 fps but while also at 1440p
I was gonna go back for Kingdom Hearts 3 but the performance is bad.

love how it says beta in the top right hand side
I want something that isn't a dude running around with a graph on his screen
How is he recording his FPS
How is he making sure the runs are the same for each console
etc
PS4 runs 60fps with many frame drops
pro doesnt run 1440p
then it's not 60 fps
no way
It is 60fps?
if thats true, im selling my pc for a pro
As long as it hits it it technically counts
It's great how people don't expect frame drops when the game is 32v32 or just 64 players in a highly realistic, large landscape shooter with vehicles added on top
I don't get FPS drops that impact me in any way
What do you play on?
but PC
Yeah I mean PS4
Going from 180fps to 150fps doesn't impact me on a 144hz monitor
Yeah, I'm aiming to get a PC but pretty pricey
Mainly the GPU, I already have a spare 3.2ghz CPU
one thing thats sucks about PC is that games aren't made on discs anymore for it
everything is digital
Doesn't affect me, Steam has a library which carries across devices and has a Verifying Files system
I'm cool with that as someone would always break my CDs.
steam doesn't have battlefield
ik that
last battlefield game on steam was bad company 2
But I only really use steam
I wasn't gonna get Battlefield on PC cause it runs fine on console anyway ๐คท๐ป
oof

i would argue againts 50 fps meaning "it runs fine "

seems like a decent deal
oh wow, ebay has some amazing deals on gpu's rn
250 pound for a rog strix triple fan 1080
Most strix cards are triple fans
Think someone was asking the other day about write cycles in comparison to age of SSDs for eventual drive failures--TLDR, errors/failures occur typically before write-limits are reached due to the age of components that makeup the drive. pick install locations?
^
Why does my game crash 2/3 of the time when I try to load into a game a conquest?
AMD confirmed that DDR5 won't come out for 4th gen Ryzen
which is pretty obvious
DDR5 will require a new CPU socket
new socket is already expected
you don't need a new socket anyways, just CPUs to support it
same amount of pins as ddr4
I'm predicting 5th gen Ryzen will have DDR5 on AM5 socket, on 5nm, AVX512, and will launch on 5/5/2021

insane how the RX 560 still retails for $110-120 when you can get a RX 570 for only $10 more

Not the right channel @bitter umbra
if you know then why would you post it in that chat ?
@bitter umbra As noted, not the right channel. Ask in the appropriate channel, #battlefield-legacy-titles, and make sure to follow that advice going forward. Your posts have been removed. Thank you.
Buying used gpu from ebay isn't good tbh
This week's hardware news talks about Intel's internal document talking about AMD's status, DisplayPort 2.0, Intel integer scaling support. Ad: Buy EVGA's GT...

Toshiba / WD NAND production drop--expect price fluctuations in the coming months.
Doesn't even have the best VRMs
๐
i wouldn't be surprised if most bencher/reviewers/testers will recommend 470 boards for zen2
buying a board that is 2-3 x the price of the cpu itself is just ridiculous
Depends on what you need
The fact that the new boards have better VRMs and most importantly PCIE 4 is a huge boon, what with the higher core count CPUs pulling a lot of power
Im literally getting 10 fps on a 2010 game on lowest graphics, my cpu, gpu and ram are at around 30-50% usage, and my laptop temperature is normal
any help?
what are the specs of your laptop and what is the game
Game is BFBC2, My specs are AMD Ryzen 3 2200U, Vega 3 Graphics and 8gb ram
sounds about right for those specs
only usable thing with pcie 4 atm is nvme ssd, which does nada for gaming, and if you need that speed you will go for hedt anyways
ye crabdul that is probs about right
you dont have a gpu so i dont know what you would expect
Roblox is getting it too, and my old pc didnt have a gpu, had a worse cpu and only 4 gigs of ram and worked better
๐ฆ
that laptop isnt meant for gaming, its built for light work loads and browsing
yeah true, but shouldnt it still run better than my old laptop from 2012, which was also designed for light work?
only thing you can do is try to allocate more memory to the igpu
if the bios has that option
how do i do that? @supple bane
well i cant say if you dont give me the specs of the old laptop
i wouldnt even bother tbh
looking for old specs
4 gigs of ram and an i3-3227u CPU, 1.90 GHz
go into the bios and look for any option that says shared memory for graphics or smthing like that
how do i go into bios?
look it up on google with your laptop model
but i doubt it will change anything
๐
you wont get anything from it
thanks anyways
Hello! I'm wondering if anyone could help we with Battlefield V crashes. My hardware should be more than enough, but even at mid-low settings I will be getting around 58-62 FPS. The game will also crash randomly- CPU temps are within 80c, GPU is usually around 60c. Any advice? Note: I reset GPU OC with no success, same with CPU.
I'm running an 8700k, 16 gigs of ram, and an 8 gig 2070.
Fix the game plz
?
Update broke it af
@rocky whale we arent dice, and you cant just "fix a game" you need to realise it is more complicated than that
@rain quartz do you have an overclock enabled ? have you tried reinstalling your drivers, try to repair the game files,
I do.
Just crashed when I died in a single player mission...
This game is so broken :/
I still don't know how I should upgrade my PC, my budget just got a big increase tho
I hate not being able to copy and paste my specs from system or dxdiag
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-6100T CPU @ 3.20GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
System Manufacturer: MSI
Model: MS-7971
GFX: Radeon RX550/550 Series
CPU first
i5 I assume?
Wait on Zen 2
How much would that cost?
buy a 3600 for $200, some X470 / B450 board that supports it out of the box, and 16GB of DDR4
$200 looks cheap for how good that seems
all of ryzen cpu's are cheap for what they are
like. every single one of them
@odd goblet what is your budget now ?
Right now about $450-$500
usd right?
ill make a pc part picker list for you of what would be a good option
obvs i cant include the 3600 in a pc part picker yet, so i will find a cpu that costs about the same, so in your mind replace that with the 3600
@odd goblet do you know what the speed of your ram is ?
Not really
Not listed
@supple bane just custom part and put a 3600 for $200 in
oh right
Still looks really cheap for being about as good as an i9 or so
I guess Google is giving me shit results lol
maybe a little more
Yeah that's hella clickbait
hold up, im not seeing the custom part tab, and im not stupid, i have used it before, it is just fucking gone
Fucking discord resolution
bottom
ik its at the bottom
and you have to be signed in

This is practically a whole new computer ๐
but that is average for those parts, you can get them cheaper if you look hard enough
pretty much ye
Also, I haven't heard anything good from Gigabyte... ever
i have that motherboard, and there isnt anything i can complain from it
Everytime I hear Gigabyte in a conversation, it's negative
Just my personal... hearing I guess... third-hand experience... whatever term lol
i mean, the motherboard doesnt really matter too much, not unless you plan on making some killer pc with 10 fans and 100tb of hdd space
and some may be better for oc's
12 is a terrible config for ram
because i rarely go past 13
only game i have seen gobble more than 13 gb of ram is ark
~~ he means chrome~~
there
tbh, you could probs get all that and still be under 500
because like i said, pcpartpicker doesnt get its prices from the cheapest sources
like the gpu you could even get second hand
@prime jasper since you only have 4GB ram, you're going to run into issues when gaming considering that 4GB has to be shared between system and the integrated graphics
@latent light nah my old PC had 4 gigs my current one has 8, idk what the problem was, but it's fixed (for now) and I'm getting 50-60 fps
What did you do
Nothing, really, restarted it, had a ryzen controller and edited some values as suggested by someone on reddit
But changing the values only worked sometimes
Did you reserve more RAM for the integrated graphics?
even if he did, vega 3 wont be playing many games
It will play 2010 games
@latent light no, couldn't figure out how to do that
Have to enter your BIOS
Heavily Nvidia optimized game btw

and not something i would consider a benchmark
Ye
thats not the update, thats a process that happens before the update
notice how the speed that it is going up is wayyyy more than the speed of your internet
apparently a stock Ryzen 9 3950X shouldn't pull more power than stock Ryzen 7 2700X
could be true considering it probably doesn't have a high all-core boost
my Gigabyte B350 got the BIOS update for full 3rd gen Ryzen support

gonna stick a 3950X in and overclock to 5 GHz
4 sub-par Vcore phases = ez

i just realised, its a true fact that you dont need as much cooling here as you would in texas for example,
usually, i get an average of 70 degrees with my overclock on my gpu
today
90
its like 25 degrees C outside
and that is hot for me
just something that popped to mind
first comment on this post is an AMD employee that explains TDP
2700X draws 105 watts stock on torture test, 8700K draws 160 watts

Sounds about right since that 8700k is not following intel spec
8700K does go up an entire GHz on boost though
from 3.7 to 4.7 single core
all core is 4.4 or 4.5 iirc
AVX load
Amazing tool.
i want to know if my asrock x470 taichi and my asus x470 prime pro can hold the 3950x but i think this will be early october
taichi will easily
i somehow suspect that the r9 only will be compatible with x570
it will be supported on even B350, just not a good idea lmao
my B350 got a BIOS update that literally says "Ryzen 3rd gen full support"
i saw that
guys does any1 know how to reset nahimic so i could change the output from speaker to headphones?
google it
I tried a lot but no luck and i even posted in msi forum
Does nobody uses it?
Then why every msi onboard audio driver comes with modified realtek which works with nahimic
You can reset your current profile to default settings by clicking on the small arrow at the bottom right of the audio page (or microphone page, depending on what you want to reset). ?
@broken prism
Im using nahimic 3, I don't see any arrow at the bottom right
are the drivers up to date?
@crude storm
@broken prism sorry, i just did a google search on my end, i find that it differs often depending on the country you search
https://storage-asset.msi.com/file/pdf/Nahimic_User_Guide_EN.pdf maybe something in there
Anyone having problems loading into certain maps
do you have other audio? Like can you hear YouTube, your game etc
and are you on pc or console ?
Why get a 2080 when you could be poor and have a Titan RTX?
Why be poor when you could have a gt 1030?

Anyone else have problems with high CPU usage and under 100% Gpu usage?
Normal?
task manager shows the average thread usage
games don't use 100% of every thread
My voip wont work well they can hear me but i cant hear them. Do you know the fix for this @steep gust
Sounds like your output device on discord is selected incorrectly @nova pulsar
Could be the same in-game.
https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Daedalus-Performance-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00TKFD51M $389.99US for this mouse. Better give me a hug and call me special in the mornings for that kind of money.
lol
It's older though so might just be rarity
Pretty sure it cost like $90 or something at the time for that one
Actually a good mouse, real comfy and light
I just orderd a I9 9900k because my I7 9700k can't handle Battlefield 5 without getting 90-100% percent usage what is causing a lot of lags .....๐ณ
you have another issue ,your 9700k should handle it just fine
clock that sucker to at least 4.8 all core with a decent cooling
and you will be fine
Sorry, you're thinking the issue is with a 9700k?!
its thermal throtling or something else grinding your cpu in the background
Also 100% usage isn't necessarily a bad thing, it means it's being used
What's your card? There must be a bottleneck elsewhere
3440x1400p 120 fos stable
yup
Ayyy
your cpu on water or air?
been pretty lucky it dosent append to me to often
LevelCap and Jackfrags have videos talking about their experiences
@sour meteor got a 240 on the CPU and a 360 on the GPU
I hope after pacific maps come out, Dice goes full into working on optimization
how much did you manage to get out of your cpu?
Was going to go with a 240 + 120 for the CPU but somehow I broke the 120 so went screw it
Not that much, tbh I haven't overclocked it too much at all
Eh, I'm probs gonna get Zen 2 when that comes out
apparently having Windows 10 version 1809 or newer and playing on DX12 will remove most stutter

yeah I'm going to get a Ryzen 5 3600, should be a nice upgrade from my current 1600
but im lucky in a way, living in a remote area with extremly fast internet and not to many people
Looking at that sweet 12 core
I live in the literal worst suburb in my city and have bad 50mbps
I'm sure the Ryzen 5 3600 will consume less power than my 1600
3600 shouldn't be too bad
TSMC 7nm is 40% more power efficient than their 14nm
tdp 65 watt stock nice
It's the high core count ones that are gonna need those true 14 phase ones (and by need I mean I really want one)
the 16-core will reach an ultimate peak of 200 amps of current, which could kill a decent 8 phase lmao
the 12-core will be between 150-175 amps
192w
yeah a 9900K on boost clock will run at 180 watts
5ghz all core
then again, boost clocks often use more voltage than they need
manual clocking all the way
my brother has a 9900K at 5.2 GHz, but he has a custom loop
Just make a roboclocker
i should install a damn ac
Custom LN2 loop
I used to have a i5-4690K that ran at 5.25 GHz for 2 years until I sold it to my friend
That was my first CPU actually
haha ln2 would be dope
would need probaly the truck park at my door for a complete day of gaming lol
4690k as my first, then went to a 5820k and haven't changed since
intel kinda got lazy lately
i love my 9900k but really its almost like they where not trying
it's going to be insane if the Ryzen 9 3950X at 4.7 GHz boost will be able to match a 9900K at 5.3 GHz
I can see enthusiasts buying it to disable half the cores to get higher clocks

I wonder if you'll need to run a "game mode" like with threadripper on the 12 and 16 core ones
dont think so
the good sign is to see all the board at launch
mean they believe in the product
nice
It's actually the nicest thing ever, fills me with happiness every time I see it
Like whoever designed it thought of exactly what I wanted aesthetically
i like my maximus x code as well
i just wish asus worked a bit more on the ai suite
what a cancer
gave it a try at start, nope no thanks
my fan curve are set in the bios
Same
and for my monitoring simply using good old hwinfo64
Tbh my fan curve is a straight line of full blast
I prefer to never have to worry about heat than noise
had to gave a curve to mine, genius me bought some industrial noctua for 2 of my rad
Noisy? I was gonna get those actually
at 3000 its pure madness
if you can hide them the NF-A12x25 are crazy
Noice
whats that case?
Corsair Obsidian 500D I think
Lots of glass and thick aluminium/steel frames
Front fans aren't Maglevs as I had two 140 mm ones in the front of my old case not three 120's
nice
here mine
that channel wont let me paste picture
damn i should have clean the glass first lol
Whoa noice! What case?

wait, boosters canโt post images
Thatโs. Dumb
you would think effectively paying to represent the server would give you at least the perks that a regular gets

aka how do we rebrand Celeron tier chips
means thrown away or rejected
so in the past, CPUs that get made and dont make the grade get assessed and sold as Celeron or whatever label, now days I guess they just dont bother to grade the rejects
@lofty light lian li pco11 rog edition an older case
sli generally isnt worth it
So i should sell my current one and buy 2070 maybe ? I only play on 1080p and 144hz monitor
So idk if it's overkill with 2070
a 2070 will definitely be a noticeable upgrade. the new radeon cards are coming out in like a week so you could wait for benchmarks comparing them
isent amd's card shit?
@loud pagoda all of amd's card have better price to performance over nvidias cards
the only thing that nvidia have over amd is their professional cards
like Quadros and shite
that goes for the same in cpu's. everyone of amd's cpus are better in price to performance than intel, and they practically own the editing space
one week will launch
What about Drivers for AMD GPUs? Nvidia basically offers drivers for more or less every new AAA game and it's involved in quite a few games while developing. Some drivers really improve performance of some specific games sometimes. I own an old radeon HD card (still good enough for csgo and non demanding games) on my second computer. And there definitely wasnt many driver updates over the years. Atleast not per game. Did they improve on that? I'm curious how it's nowadays.
Pushing updates for every large game doesn't do much
driver to driver performance is generally pretty small
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d9_E3h8bLp-TXr-0zTJFqqVxdCR9daIVNyMatydkpFA/edit#gid=0
AM4 VRM list, take it with a grain of salt but its pretty useful for Zen 2
yeah, i know. But sometimes performance gets greatly improved. Most of the time stays the same tho ๐
How much of a performance boost would I see going from an FX6300 and 1050Ti to an R3 2200g with a 1660 Ti in bf5? I play at 1080p.
such a massive one that it is off the charts
tbh I wouldnt bother with the APU since you are using dedicated graphics
4c/4t isnt going to be very smooth anyway
yeah 2600 will be a massive improvement
but that will still be plenty for gaming
maybe not 144hz
but it will play most titles
you can even still get the motherboard you planned on getting as they both use the same socket
@sacred walrus get a 1600 if you can get one around the same price as the 2200g
oh ye, i didnt think of those tbch
Learn how updates to Precision Boost Overdrive on select AMD Ryzen 3000 Series processors provides an all-new automatic overclocking feature that can give yo...
PBO got further improvements
Yes I see that but I don't want to spend a ton on my CPU
spending a bit more sometime mean spending less down the road
like nyphon said, the 1600 is about the same price
yeah Ryzen 3 2200G will stutter in BFV
and wont bottle neck the 1660ti like the 2200g will
yeah 1660Ti will only get 1060 performance if you have only a 4 core CPU
although the 2200g WILL play . you are spending money on a very capable gpu, to then hold it back with the cpu
oof
great minds think alike if yanno what i mean
wait 2 week anyway
@sacred walrus do you have microcenter near you?
im sure lots of sale will append
Im building around this time next year
...
things will completely change in a year
you shouldnt talk about a build until youre building in that month
I still like to look ahead
well its rather hard to look a year ahead lol
no point, things will be different
computer move to fast to look ahead
6 month ago ram was almost double the price it is today
yea, the only thing i would say is to get ram soon, especially if prices start to increase
but absolutely anything else is probably a bad idea to look at atm
ssd prices keep dropping, new cpus/gpus/mbs are coming out in a week, let alone who knows whats coming in a year
got the feeling we will see monster video card again because of amd
dual gpu on 1 card lol
if only they could make a dual GPU card really run like a single GPU
every previous dual GPU card ran in SLI or crossfire
with the extra bandwith with pcie 4 i think its defintly posible
the Vega II Pro used in the new 2019 mac pro has 2 GPUs on a single card and they are connected via infinity fabric like Ryzen uses
i feel like the dual gpu on one card isnt too hard to get, its getting drivers and what not to make it at least close to it being double the performance of just one of the chips
nha nvidia nvlink scale really great actually
@latent light wont surprise me to see them release it next year for pc
the market is there,
considering 1060 is the most popular card i think AMD should focus on the mid tier like they are doing
i love my 2080ti but rtx i use it only to impress people lol
RX 5700 and 5700XT are only Navi 10
Navi 20 will be revealed CES 2020 which is in January
i think its worth they both work on mid and high tier
should see a 5800, 5800 XT and 5900, 5900XT
Navi 10 is GCN + RDNA hybrid and Navi 20 is full RDNA
dont forget de gddr6
would a 2400g need case fans? or would it be good with just the stock cooler and no case fans ?
just wondering for when i build my dads system
all cases need at least an exhaust fan
aight
always need a fan that can exhaust the warm air that builds up inside the case
what case you plan to get?
unless he wants a tiny case, even a micro build will have at least 1 intake and 1 exhaust
thats what i always recommend
Xbox original, Xbox 360, PS2, PS3, Gamecube, Wii all didn't have intake fans but they had at least an exhaust fan
Xbox One has a 100mm exhaust fan lol
they are not great for airflow\
it doesnt need air flow lol
im not building him a gaming system
its having a 2400g and thats it
im using the igpu from it
you might want to consider matx case then
id still get 2 fans just because
wait 1 week because that's when the 3400G comes out for $149 msrp
cheap, youll hardly hear them if at all, will keep everything definitely cool
3400G will be even cooler than the 2400G as well
well the price of the 2400g might drop from that tho
doesnt 3400g NOT use 7nm?
12nm
what makes it cooler?
2400G max turbo is 3.9 GHz, 3400G goes to 4.2 GHz
most cases do
if you downclock the 3400G to same frequency as the 2400G, it will draw a lot less power
youd have to get something super budget to not get 2 fans
pretty good budget
$380
for 150 more (minus legit windows) you can get similar for brand new
well, you get more ram, ddr4 vs ddr3
what AM4 motherboards will be able to handle which 3rd gen CPUs
damn B450 Tomahawk can handle stock Ryzen 9 3950X
the Tomahawk is easily best 4 phase board
yeah Im curious to see how it handles PBO, that is a hell of a chip for a 4 phase
PBO scales with how well the motherboard's delivery is
Does battlefield v have a benchmark?
nope
ok
first benchmark of the 3600X, 6% faster than i7-8700K
Not even, it's the Ryzen 5 so midrange
I'm keen af for the Ryzen 9

Something like that, they had like 3920x etc as well so I lost track of names
The 16 core is gonna be late though
Gonna go with the 12 and have less heat issues
All of the mid to high end are 2 threads for one core
Guys, I've a problem. I've reinstalled Windows on my SSD. On the HDD is installed Origin with BF4 and BF1
If I start Origin, it wound find the files of BF4 and BF1
I've already changed the path for installation, but still doesn't find the already installed games

ofc,it's nvidia ๐
@scarlet pond try to verify the games. There should be an option to do something like that in the same menu as uninstall.
If that does not work, then try uninstall-reinstall. I assume you are tried restating as well?
do you have an overclock applied ?
I thought stability was fixed...
It did not help when I tried it yesterday.
bfv is also just a game that crashes
Thats true
if youre not crashing in other games just blame bfv
id suspect theres a problem with that part of the game in specific
can try to verify or reinstall
@steep gust ah thanks mate, what with their naming being so damn the same as Intel I get confused
Btw you need a better gaming chair, not RGB
XX20x is threadripper stuff

ugly asfk
RTX 2070 super only 3-5% behind 2080 on average
$500 for 2070 super
and 2060?
$400 for 2060 super
$350 for regular 2060
how much better is the super verison tho
2060 super is 11% faster than regular 2060
neat
did not know these were coming out today
ahh, basically trying to steal amds thunder
when is amds NDA over? they launch in a few days
no idea
NDA on launch day ehh? thats usually sketch
got that date/time from a vendor
for zen tho
didn't mention navi
waiting for navi 20 anyways,10 would be a downgrade for me
my 1080 is still holding strong
there's probably going to be a price reduction on the RX 5700 series right after launch
I could see them drop the 5700XT to $400 and the 5700 to $330-350
really wanted an amd gpu,but there isn't even a side grade for me atm
did you have to bind each button?
I remember when I tried to play an emulator with my xbox controller and I had to spend an hour or two binding the analog sticks
had to perfectly move them in certain directions
was annoying
they do @steep gust ?and how much W will they draw?like 400 ?
iirc it underperforms pretty bad in 1440p
the 7 vs the 2080
300-400w
that's a lot
5,000 MB/s
I doubt it'll be much better
ik i was kidding
That thing will be limited by the standard Aorus software to 4MB/s :p
buy the pro variant of the firmware for only $50 a month!

what are you talking about?
How's your garbage ecosystem
falling for the ecosystem meme

I prefer Biostar tbh
I prefer EVGA's AMD boards
What do I do when I start my new PC for the first time and it says Check Signal Cable?
check the cable?
Hdmi
ew
use a dp if you can
higher bandwith
check if you you got multiple ports on your graphic card/monitor,and if the monitor is set to hdmi
it makes zero difference unless you are using a few monitors that need the bandwidth
depends
analog?like an actual ancient vga plug ?that monitor must be like 15 years old lol
Try different hdmi cables? Another monitor?
wow, that thing really has a vga port
Different hdmi doesnt work
can you disable it on the monitor menu ?
I got 2
Actually, my X34 does that very rarely, and randomly. The trick is to have the monitor completely unplugged for a while, and it works again
guess on both ports the same ?
And I mean unplugged from pc and power
You need to know thar I started it the first time today @rigid knoll
yeah you can try that
what gpu do you use ?
GTX 1060
is power saving disabled on the monitor ?
How can I find out
There is nothing
Yeah
check it out,gtg now,good luck
you have a manual and a auto detection for the source signal
one of the 2 must work
Ok bye
can a rtx 2060, i7-8700 (non-k), 16gb ram run this game on high?
yeah
Lol, same specs here but 2070
I'm really sad I gought my GPU 6 months ago
would get the super now
such is the way with tech
Indeed
you got 6-12 months till theres a better deal to be had
specs?
4790, 1080, 16gb
1080! you call that old!
Yall think it's worth to uppgrade from a GTX 1070 8gb to a RTX 2080 ''SUPER'' ?? The price seems nice tho. Just wanna hear yall opinion
Upgrade to the 2070 super
1080 is 3 years old now
I'm not farmiliar with that CPU- cores, clock speed?
uhh 2080 super isnt out
yeah it is
4790k is 4c8t
1440p and above? no bottleneck really
2060, 70, and 80 super
iam a 1080p guy, as far as im not geting a better moniter. But im glad with my 144hz atm'
is there an reviews or any release date?
only thing i heard on 2080 super is that there is gonna be one
oh
BRB
ah
but they know the price and expected performance
ew red team
probably going red team for cpu in a month or so
i used sli and for some games were a pain in the ass
ill stick with my 1080 for a while longer though
with inspector
sli is pointless, why get 2x 2070s when you could get a 2080ti at that point?
i like that amd doesnt need a dumb bridge
there is no SLI for 2070
nvlink, same shit different smell
not that either
nvidia became too greedy i wont give them my money
black friday would be the best choice to pick a navi for like 280 maybe? who know
Honestly may as well wait for next gen
thing is i have a gtx 970
Why cain't i drop screen pictures in here
and if i upgrade cpu i cant wait a year more
can't*
jensen wouldnt like that
who's that
think 2080 super comes out in a couple weeks
I will sell my gtx 1070 and buy a 2080 super
lol
thats gonna be quite the upgrade
