anyone know in-game voice chat suddenly doesn't work? only in bf5
its fine yesterday, now there's no speaker icon suddenly
long ago i solved it by simply change from direct x 11 to 12, and sometimes back to direct x 11 again
but now its doesnt work

so i tried out a program called nzxt cam, for the ability to monitor temps on your phone live, but it will show the temp of my pc but it wont change
for example..
if i was to log in with my pc on idle and it will work fine, my phone will say all the things it should like "cpu-32degress
gpu-45degrees"
etc..
but that will then not change
they will stay at those temps no matter what

But in DX12 on Ultra when I play a normal round of conquest I get about 5FPS more than DX11, only in Firestorm it hits the shitter when looking at the ring.

On Ultra DX11, on testing range I get about 97FPS, and on DX12 it goes to around 103-105FPS
Performance is just super erratic, ended up going back to DX11 because it simply runs with less FPS drops.

to do a test, for chrome and firefox without loading more than one page, then take note of the memory, then open 100(or at least 25 probably) tabs , and make another note, then close the tabs until you get to the last one then make anotehr note to see how good they are at releasing memory

That's one line of thought I've considered, where if RT actually becomes a thing, go with the 1660Ti for now and buydown on a RTX card later on when it actually works with something.
The 2070s are running in the 500-600 dollar range at this point, so the value isn't really there atm.

look, if you are trying to run BF V on an older PC there is a lot you can do to get a semi decent FPS, its not a "silver bullet" situation. You have to look on google and youtube and find how to max every component and windows itself to get what you want.

but once you understand it, it is super simple
the cpu has to match/ be compatible with the motherboard, so to get a new cpu, most the time, you have to get a new motherboard.
but, a motherboard also has set ram types that it can have, meaning that you are more than likely going to need new ram as well
