I did have the battery problem, but they gave me a completely new phone as compensation for the whole ordeal.

@tardy sequoia I used OBS because it mimics a lot of control sets I've used in other applications and I've got it dialed in for some pretty solid output, but if you have coin, Bandicam is used widely by YTers as well.
2h on my normal settings in OBS creates a roughly 30Gb file, but you could definitely go higher with supreme quality than that if you have a serious amount of storage. Also depends a lot on your post-production software as well in how you'll be editing the footage you collect.
For even better quality, a second-pc capturing/encoding is even better.
