I have recorded my gameplay in 1080p but with an ultrawide (so there will be black lines on the top and bottom if seeing with a normal 1920x1080p monitor. I undervolted my RX 580 down to 1050 mV from 1150 and temp went down about 12C
I might even try dropping down the clock speed a little to get it all the way down to 900 mV lmao

I like backplates because I have MOSFET heatsinks on my VRMs that are only attached on by the adhesive of the thermal pad
if one of those small heatsinks ever fall off, the back plate would protect the back of the card from getting shorted

^ it does depend on the type as well. DDR3 obviously is slower than ddr4 but for example, a 2133 MHz clock is slower than 3200mhz and the performance isn’t much
