I mean, whenever I put my old MSI GTX 770 in my system, it works flawlessly
now I got this RX 580 that artifacts on cold boot and has random stutter when watching videos or playing any games

I've played at least 30 different games on this RX 580, and the only one that has problems is War Thunder, that game will crash every 20 minutes or so when texture quality is set to high

another problem I have is artifacts on Discord and sometimes on youtube too

but no artifacts in games

well I do get random heavy stutter that spikes up to 500ms frametimes which only happens for about 2 seconds or less

temperatures are fine

stays below 75C all the time

it's pretty obvious that the video memory is defective or it could be the memory controller

we have up to 5 years of warranty for costly product with burden gradually shifting to consumer as item gets older

but GPUs generally have a solid legally mandated warranty for 5 years

4790k is a ddr3 platform and requires a lot of upgrades if you want to upgrade in the future, tbh not worth it unless you have many of pieces needed already

minimum GPU I'd recommend for a playable experience on BFV is the RX 560, but that card is only $10 cheaper than the RX 570 which performs a lot better
