I use the newest drivers and since the most recent update just a little bit ago the driver keeps reverting some settings to default. Namely the SLI profile and performance mode.
I feel like it was done to combat the ppl using the driver the exploit but now my SLI bits won't stick while some other different settings will.

Mostly from what you described is linked to hardware side crashing.
If your running stock clocks, good chance you need to under clock or more volts and try again.

I just saw the above chat. Honestly an RTX 2060 or 2070 should be all you need. if you are going for high end, I would say the Radeon VII. it has been doing well. I imagine with future updates it will dominate the RTX 2080 even harder

If the frame rate is too high, the tensor cores can't keep up. This explains why high end cards can't use DLSS at lower resolutions. Lower-end cards on the other hand have so few tensor cores, that they can't keep up with the high resolution to begin with. This doesn't explain why the 2060 can use DLSS at 4k in Battlefield, though. In any case, RTX takes care to keep FPS down so the tensor cores can keep up. Kind of makes sense to me. Introducing new paradigms and having all the necessary resources on-die to support them don't come in the same generation.

DLSS is most effective when the GPU is at maximum work load, such that if a GPU is not being challenged enough, DLSS is not going to be made available. Accordingly, this implementation encourages users to turn on RTX first, thus increasing the GPU load, to then enable DLSS. It would thus be fair to extrapolate why the RTX 2080 Ti does not get to enjoy DLSS at lower resolutions, where perhaps it is not being taxed as hard.

I dont use it. If you are going to get a mouse, I would say stick to the reviews. There is tons of highly reviewed mice out there.. Cooler Master CM 310, Logitech G203 or something, Hyper X Pulsefire, Corsair M65, Ironclaw, Roccat Kone.. list goes on. Those are just some the mice reviews I keep on my page

@coarse jackal I don't necessarily disagree, however, I am interested in that specific mouse--I'd checked out several of those you'd mentioned up close at the store, but I don't like the way they fit in my hand. I think I need something with a bit more of an arc (I use a Kensington trackball at work, so I think I've become accustomed to a specific feel). Just interested in some word-of-mouth feedback if someone happens to have it or had it. It's wireless, so I am skeptical as to how often I'd need to charge it, but other than that, it seems to be a uncomplicated form-factor.

I have an FX6300 (Non OC), GTX1050 Ti 16 gbs of 1600Mhz DDR3 and a gigabyte 78lmt usb3 r2. I play on an old 5:4 aspect ratio at 1280x1024 but I'm thinking of upgrading to a 1080p monitor. Does anyone know how big the performance impact would be? I can play bf5 on Jack Frags Try hard settings at 55 to 130 fps and R6S at ultra at 65 to 100 FPS.
