@half comet that did surprise in the past, RAM freq does improve average FPS, especially for open world games, GTA V was the first for me, I witnessed an significant increase of average fps on my shitty i5 4690k paired with 1333mhz to 2133mhz
The improvement is more apparent on ddr4, not so much on ddr3 for some reason

The DDR in DDR3 stands for "double data rate". Doubling the DRAM frequency gives you the DDR3 spec of 2133.

The more often CPU needs to access data from ram, the better faster ram is, if most of textures etc can be fit to GPU memory the less effective faster ram is, if most of data that CPU needs can be fitted to CPU cache / per level, the less effective faster ram is again, its all about how ofter and how much needs to be written/read from ram

guys, i5-7500, rx 580 8gb VRAM, 8 gb ddr4, tomorrow i will have 8 more, all updated, windows, all, the game works like shte in multiplayer, low and unstable fps

also, i5-7500 is a bit weak due to it having only 4 cores and 4 threads, but it should still run the game above 60 fps tbh
