Is it normal to get 40-60 fps on i5 3570 non 'k'. I have 980ti and I feel like it's finally time for an upgrade
question, what do I need to make my BFV on pc look B E E F Y
how do I get solid 60 fps on high or ultra?
@red ingot I'm going to put my willy wonka in your chocolate factory
@tiny rampart Wait for them to fix BFV
Whats your gpu and cpu?
That's quite a weird performance difference between bf5 and bf1
@marble kite yes that sounds right. Your cpu is going to bottleneck that GPU in BF and alot of other newere games
not at all how bottlenecks work
Uh what? I didnt ever explain how bottlenecks work.
@steep gust his CPU only has 4 threads. BF wants more than that. And newer games will as well as time passes.
and yet that still isn't how bottlenecks work
It is not a yes / no
It is dependent on the game and the setting used
He goes to 4k and the GPU is the bottleneck.
Also games use cores, not threads
Games really don't take advantage of hyperthreading since it is better and smarter to just use the physical cores
Hi, when I set the frame rate limit to "refresh rate" in Battlefield V it locks my game at 60fps even though my refresh rate is 165hz.
Never mind, it decided to work after the 5th attempt.
@steep gust Wow. First of all. Threads are used. They are game dependent but they are defintely used. They happen to be a subsidiary of Cores.
I know excatly how it all works. Ive been building pcs for 13 years
Threaded ops are picked up differently than cores just handling them?
Unity game engine for example was single threaded but you could spawn additional threaded ops which I have no idea how they're then handled
Games have to be coded properly at a low level for other threads to be used. Its CLEAR that Bf5 uses more. I speak from expereience helping people in this channel with outdated CPUs.
Is it in the "pinned messages" that you should have dx12 off and future frame rendering on. Or vice versa? Just so a lot of people can quickly go to it.
Dx12 should be off. Future Frame rendering ON.
hellos, have you guys been experiencing crashes?
i have gtx 970, 5820k, ddr4 16gb 3200
fps is pretty great, except heats up like crazy if i dont limit the fps
biggest problem is crashing tho, without any error dialogues
do you have dx12 enabled?
tried both 416.94 and .81
no
dx12 off
frame future thing on
but tried the other way around too, still crashes also
anything weird happen at crashes. Do you monitor CPU GPU usage?
Do you have Gpu Memory limit on?
and at 60c
that on default yea
frames and game runs smooth
on all medium settings
the game just randomly freeze for 1-2 seconds and shuts itself off
with no errors
randomly, every maybe 5-30mins
Origin in game, nay or yay?
Ah, my game runs like shit. So annoying.
some guy was talking about v1809 october windows update
so im trying that now
just forced the update
my game runs great actually even on 970
however if i let it go uncapped fps
temps hit 90c quickly
no idea why
and if i jjust let it capped at 60
my 970 barely need to work
60-70% gpu load and 60c
but thats a side issue,,, main one is crashing every ~15mins lmao
hopefully magically windows update v1809 will fix it
losing hope tho
@languid acorn that's hot
I have a netduma router I use for COD for low ping servers, should I use it for battlefield?
I don't know how they normally run stuff
Yuiiski I feel that.. really ruins my liking of the game, like ive been excited since reveal and played in alpha and beta and i thought it would get better but it seems like fps just got worse
i was just overclocking and on narvik i got under 20 fps majority of the time
like it was better during the alpha
I'm impressed, 22 ping connect to an amazon server.
i need to as well... bfv is annoyingly demanding
like every other game ive ever played is great then bf1 and bfv
ugh...
and it sucks because it's the game i like the most
my GPU is still not picking up or being used
at all
i reinstalled driver w DDU
game crashes after loading bc it doesnt wanna use GPU
its not even low its like 0
are you sure it's plugged in right?
like your wiring
make sure you're not using the intel one
You didn't plug the display cable into the mobo?
best price-to-performance CPU in the market currently is the Ryzen 5 2600 @terse juniper
$160 in the USA
another one cheaper than that is Ryzen 5 1500X for $120
Anything better for a bit more?
Yeah
since you wanna play battlefield V, any 8th gen Intel or Ryzen CPU with 6+ cores will be perfectly fine
a 4 core with hyperthreading will do well too
My CPU knowledge sucks
lol
if you don't want to do any overclocking Ryzen 5 2600X would be better than the 2600
I hope you know that you need a compatible motherboard too lol
Yeah lol
my friend bought a $280 i5-8600K and his motherboard only worked for Intel 7000 series chips lmao
I'd recommend getting just a 2600
My current setup is 980, 16gb ddr4, 2tb hdd
2600 is better for price
Need a ssd though lol
£150 for that
I'd always recommend going with Samsung SSDs though
I got a Samsung 970 512GB NVMe SSD for $110 lol

NVMe SSDs are awesome because they connect directly to the motherboard without the need of cables
I'm terrible with CPUs, I need that paste stuff right
Anything else?
Arctic Silver 5 is like $6 a tube I think
Paste should come with the cooler
infamous, if you don't know how to overclock, you can download Ryzen Master if you have a Ryzen cpu and it overclocks for you
You won't need anything fancy unless you've got a good coolerv
which is why I suggest a 2600 over 2600X
I've got an i5
Get one of those 212 hyper Evo coolers I think they are
The freaking best price perf
I overclocked a 5820k on one of those before

It didn't like me very much but it worked 😛
I had an Fx-8350 at 4.6 GHz on a hyper 212 evo lmao
would throttle in stress tests but not in games
@terse juniper btw, upgrading to a new CPU such as Intel 6000, 7000, 8000 series or Ryzen requires new RAM
i take that you use DDR3 correct?
Yeah ram is a killer for price
Hey! i got a problem ... everytime I start BFV I get sendt 2 the "tutorial" / introduction of the game... having 2 load the start of the attack on Norway etc... makes it takes soooo long 2 start the game... any quick fix 2 this?
As @rose eagle would say, you need to reformat
Hey i gotta problem here with me, whenver i alt tab and enter back into the game(fullscreen) It gives me an Error, somewhere along the lines of this: https://imgur.com/a/XBU6sl9
I did update my NVDIA drivers through geforce experience, it is a bit odd and it happens everytime i go back to my game. My Graphics card is a gtx 1060m (6gb) if you need it
there is a slight chance that Nvidia or even Dice forgot to optimize drivers for the 1060M
I had a 960M laptop that would be choosey on what games would work
Are you running dx12?
Right now i have dx12 turned off in the game settings
yeah

But for now i will just play on borderless and see if it still gives me the same problem, its just that i want as much frames as i can get so i set it to fullscreen
I don't get much if any frame drops in borderless
Ah thats good to hear, never tried borderless too. Also do you know why the dx12 preform buggy on mobile gpus? Im not really into directX that much and im confused.
Ddr4
I've got ddr4 ram
DDR4 cool, was hoping you didn't have DDR3
Still require a change?
nope
@prime jasper maybe check that you have a Documents/Battlefield V folder
all you need then is just a motherboard and CPU
you can find cpu/motherboard deals on Newegg pretty frequently
in combos
this combo right here
A1
I have a GTX 960, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6402P CPU @2.80GHz, and 8GB RAM and when I look on task manager while playing i get around 86% (100% usage overall on cpu) even when overclocked and about 36% of my gpu is used, and 60 fps is an distant dream i get around 30-45 but it dips always on Narvik tonight in the thick of everything I had 17 fps... if I get a new cpu will that fix this low fps problem? should I get more ram as well?
I just want to enjoy the game, low fps is really ruining that
this game is so demanding
Yeah, my core i7 mobile chip is preforming pretty high rn to 70 percent. But im able to keep above 60, might be a cpu problem i have no idea
That CPU is fairly low end yeah for frostbite
so it's a cpu problem, my gpu is ok?
im sure your gpu will do fine
ayyy
o jesus not ultra, im fine with low, jsut want 60 fps lol
I had a 6400T and BF1 gave me like 25 fps
Ended up putting a 8700 in my lan rig instead
i could only wish
lol
really regret getting my gaming laptop tho, I got mine for 1700 and till this day i still wonder why i didnt buy a pc
build*
oof
actually playing at higher setting will put more work on the GPU rather than the CPU
which is why people play games on low settings and resolution in CPU benchmark comparisons
oh really?
hmm ill try rn
yea i read about that and tried it, i didnt see much of a difference tho, ill try it again rn
do you think i should go back to the previous driver update ?
i heard it was better for some people
could work
Does battefield have a benchmark test? sorry i dont know a lot
i5-6402P is only ~3% behind a desktop i5-6400 so CPU can't be too much of a problem
is it really the gpu then?
Battlefield is pretty CPU heavy though
4 cores/threads can sometimes be too little in BF1 and BFV
rip
8700k or bust
my 4c8t i7 is finally showing some age
yea the physics is unreal, not sure what gets sync'd
I'm waiting to Ryzen 3000 series to launch in 4-5 months from now
15-20% higher IPC than Ryzen 2000
i mean, what's really going to be new
and 5 GHz clocks
already looking at 4.5 GHz on an engineering sample of a 7nm 8-core cpu
engineering samples usually are half the clocks of the final product
seeing a prototype already hitting 4.5 GHz is a crazy feat
we might even see 5.5 GHz
on the final product
considering the Zen architecture is still new and has a lot of room for improvement
the mainstream $300 desktop gaming CPU? 😉
Core clocks dont really matter anymore. Its all about IPC Instructions per clock
I was talking more newer gens vs older not brands
yea i mean my i7 3770k is same clock as 8700k
put Intel and Ryzen both at the same clock speed, let's say, 4 GHz, performance will be the same
i dont know if i trust AMD yet with execution of instructions
core clocks has only been a thing when comparing same level of processor architecture, otherwise its always IPC if wanting to compare between various architectures
yes, IPC is important
what is 2700x base clock?
but Ryzen only needs improved core clocks in order to be highly competitive
3.7 GHz base clock for 2700X
max boost is 4.3
which is what like 4ghz all cores?
and max overclock is 4.5 GHz I believe
specifically for BF perf since it roasts every single core and thread you can throw at it 😄
someone was saying 2700x was only like 50% usage, but the speed of that processing seems to put it well below par of even my 3770k at 100 load
2700X is such an amazing CPU because the stock cooler is comparable to a $50 third party air cooler lol
i bet a 2700x wouldnt even be an upgrade in V for me
3770k is 3.5ghz but ive got 4.3 atm so what does that do to the boost?
which was 3.9
my cpu on 4c8t 4770k@4.2 is at 80-90% on bfv with 2080, all ultra 2k, so I would guess lowering details and getting a new cpu would get me more than 100-120fps
can you get 100% GPU even on ultra?
yeah its 98-100%
1440p?
for 3840x1080
avg about 105-110, sometimes dips under 90 depending on map
im seeing like 100fps right now on my 2070 with Post on low
15% hit there so sounds right
but my GPU is only at 70%
2700X would see 10-20% higher fps than 3770K
nothing is worthwhile except an 8700k
or 9700K
if there was some absolute guarantee the current AMD board/ram would support the new Ryzen shit next year it would be a consideration
it is a guarantee that all first gen boards will be supported til 2020
2020 is when DDR5 ram comes out
and it will be backwards compatible with DDR4
since the notch will be in the same spot
BFV shouldn't have any real performance problems since it's the same engine
yea but they seemed to really up the vfx
feel like theres a lot more levolution goin on
thatll sandbag the servers and local CPU i assume
i have no idea how the hell they sync just enough of it to be viable over network and make sure everyone sees the exact same thing
does your game stutter on i7-3770K?
doubt they sync other stuff than "does this object still exist and where and how it is oriented now"
and the clients do their physics separatedly
as long as CPU load stays under 90%, should be no stutter
windows shows it cooked 100%
all the debris that happen is different on everyones machine, I mean the debris that gets shown and disappears
Tempting
canada?
Aud
yea theres 0% chance they can sync all the destruction itself and positions/rotations to every client
ah
not enough bits to toss around in packets for that shit
I’ll wait for Friday
not too bad for AU
really like my EVGA 2070 XC
That’s USD
yeah lol
So $800 aud
nvidia cards don't have huge sales though
for some reason, cards like the 1050 Ti and 1060 are still above their launch MSRP
hell yeah
theres an ASRock $165 board on sale for $110 after MIR that i keep staring at
I got 2666 MHz G Skill RipJaws V but I overclocked it to 3000 lol
wtf might go 32gb ram, cause fuck it why not
tfw you type amazon in discord and not in your browser
i should just chill on my 3770k for some time
i can boost the res scale to 130% to max my GPU
adds sharpness
visual > fps
as long as i can still maintain 100 i dunno why im pissy about the 3770k
didnt pay $550 to use 70% of it 😄
lol
bought my 970 right when it came out
still works fine
bought a 1tb ssd the other day, only $120. Take my money
for 1080p it would yea
get a lot longer life out of video cards if you dont go to 1440p x_x
i got a samsung 970 evo 512GB for $110
i don't have any mechanical drives in my PC. Even my boot drive is an m.2 drive.
having 20% free space on an SSD is optimal
yea i know my 1tb now has about 750gb used
i only have my os and a few games on my ssd
@latent light I tried the all medium thing and tho it made my gpu work harder it made my cpu hit 91% and the frames were worse
overall Narvik is just unplayable for me ahh
always under 30 fps
I feel dice are being a bit ridiculous with the requirements

Ive never had a fps issue until bf1 and now heavily with bfv
Have you got future frame rendering on?
what is your cpu usage when everything is closed except task manager
bloatware can cause unnecessary high cpu usage
it was 98% when i took it
also windows update can too
bfv took up 89% of that
i guess 4 cores/threads isn't enough for battlefield now
it is
my quad core gets pegged at 90% usage sometimes touching 100%
would have to see some insane as hell sales on AMD stuff to buy into hoping next year brings good tidings
best to wait for next gen ryzen
yea 4c8t is 100% pegged on mine
but.. but.. sales 😄
next gen ryzen should fit on x470 + pc3200 ram?
it totally depends how many frames you want
yes as long as that x470 board has a bios update
if you want 144fps ofc you are cpu bound, on low details, quite hard to get such framerate from gpu too unless low details
X570 boards will come out with Ryzen 3000 CPUs
would suck for a 2700x to be a downgrade 😄
in april/may
in 5 months?
oof
at least getting 30 fps consistently and my enjoyment of bfv
Ple still don't have my 2080ti in stock
imma look into a cpu, prob will get one, what about ram, should i get up to 16gb(does it help with fps at all)
yea man ive been on reddit and such, even people with the 10 series gpu's are having problems
i like the game but it's a big yikes
I've been having issues running with my 1080, but I'm still going bound as I'm running at almost 4k
future frame rendering in the game settings is supposed to help a lot
ya
holy shit
check this out
single channel RAM gets way lower performance than dual channel in BFV
like 50% lower
check and see if your pc has 2 sticks of RAM instead of 1
It's all about frame time, not "fps" when it comes to getting required performance from GPU/CPU combo, Lets say CPU can do 60fps, that equals to 16.67ms for the GPU to render the frame, in order to maintain the 60fps. If GPU can deliver more than that then it is "CPU bound", if GPU delivers less than that then it is "GPU bound".
the thing is ive played the alpha and beta and during each ive looked extensively as to up my fps and hoping that on full release things would get better
good article to read https://www.mvps.org/directx/articles/fps_versus_frame_time.htm
check and see if your cpu isn't getting too hot
yeah, BFV benefits a fuckton from 2 sticks
more than any other game I've seen
thats wierd tho
the number of ram sticks shouldn't matter in a hardware point of view
it does
must have fucked up the software
it does if its dual channel
dual channel and single channel are very different
well yes it is a difference, but not that significant
*shouldn't be that significant
let's say you buy a single stick of 2400 MHz, it will only run at 1200MHz because in order to reach that 2400MHz speed, it needs another 1200MHz stick
dual channel practically doubles the access speed over single channel
^
try to get the same model if you can
same model or same spec at least
yeah same speed and model
okie
what speed is your ram rated at?
Speccy is an app that will tell you everything you need to know
ah i see
2133mhz ram
but since it's single channel
1064mhz
doesn't say the brand
weird
the reason it shows 1064MHz and not 2133 is because it's DDR - double data rate - so it's 1064MHz doubled - and not because it's single-channel, isn't it?
pretty sure it's this
yes drag
for example, for me it shows this:
alright good, just making sure I hadn't confused things 😛
anyone else having issues with not recieving deluxe or pre order items
in reality, your ram is 2400mhz
yeah
each stick is at 1200
🤔 pretty sure it's still both sticks at 1200, doubled
not because of dual-channel, but because of the design of DDR ram
@loud kayak too be honest, you don't need the same exact ram model
it just has to be the same speed
so another 1064MHz?
it will be labelled as 2133
this will do fine
your cpu should be fine as long as it's not getting hot and throttling
well rn it's 31 C
without any games
your cpu is a power efficient version of the i5-6400
i do want to say thank you all so much for helping me
np
i havent been excited for a game in 2 years(since overwatch)
and it's sad that im losing my liking of the game because of fps
did you run overwatch well?
your setup should play 60 fps on epic settings on that game
o i run ow so well
my old gtx 770 ran overwatch on epic settings 60+ fps
Overwatch doesn't have much going on tbh
overwatch is more cpu demanding than gpu
i used to play on a team and we were pretty good, played in tournaments and such, i enjoyed streaming that game, i wanted to do something similar with bfv as well
well in overwatch there is 12 players on the map, maps are smaller... in bfv there is 64 players and maps are larger and mostly open areas so "everything" has to be accounted
also, is your 960 a 2GB or 4GB?
Intel HD Graphics 510 (ASUStek Computer Inc) + 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (MSI)
integrated graphics built onto the cpu itself
used for desktop use
not for gaming lol
yea ive seen when i accidently plugged into that one and tried to play a game
i was so confused lol
looking around, i might just buy this one you linked rn (the ram)
one thing you should check is your cpu temperatures in game
no
CPU stays around 47 C, motherboard 51, gpu 58
is that with you minimizing the game and checking speccy?
When no one is around and not much stuff is happening I hit 60 for a small moment in time and it's AMAZING
Thank you Hamada!
dual channel ram will help a lot
seems like single channel ram isn't good at running borth BF1 and BFV
Imma look at other sites and if I don't see a better deal imma buy this one tonight you sent
this one you sent me is still the best right now
no but that one works too
no?
its my 2nd pc
the timing on the one you sent is 15-15-15-35 and mine is Timing 15-15-15-36
is that ok?
so im asking so many questions
it's just that im about to buy it
@latent light
Should be fine
If you have 2133 MHz ram then it should already run at that speed even with XMP disabled
does it have any negatives?
@pastel lily input lag is like worse connection to servers?
no, input lag to your PC
No
then it does have negatives
its very small its almost nothing
Its the time taken by the PC to actually shoot when you click on the mouse
Guys do you know why the game Reset its settings every time im opening the game?
So if I click the Shoot button on my mouse now, if the input lag is very large (which is impossible) it will take more than 2 seconds for the game to actually shoot
get my point or something like that?
Few people had that problem @worldly sable
how do you fix it?
I've not experienced with it, I'd suggest you check EA Help forums or contact support
I think its related to the GeForce experience app
Perhaps tweak settings there
Open ur GFE App and then open BFV Optimization settings
tweak ur graphic settings there
or just edit your config files and set it to Read Only Mode
Where is the multiplayer button
i hope thats gonna work thanks pal!
I dont see it in the menu
Click on Play [ Main Menu ] > Multiplayer ?
I only have campaign. Do I need to wait till its 100% downloaded?
I am at playable stage
Good afternoon or evening! Prompt I test here such problems in a game on the PC: there is no connection to servers, periodically I cannot choose or change the weapon, equipment at a class. Not bought from the equipment branch pumping. No statistics after the fight. Everyone has the same problems.
🤔
It sometimes happens @winter trout , I'd suggest you to restart the game
@pastel lily Yes and mostly do, sometimes after restart will not connect. And when you join a squad to a friend, she immediately connects. Disconnected the router and did a direct connection and also the same error. Well, while doing so by restarting the game. Thanks for reply!
@terse juniper what i5 do you currently have
does renderdevice.renderaheadlimit still help lower cpus?
input lag can be explained with a simple example, imaging your GPU can only produce 1 frame per second, so every second the screen is refreshed, your CPU could however do updates up to 100 times per second, so your mouse movements, clicks, keyboard presses all are evaluated 100 times per second, but you only get visual confirmation of that once per second, imagine playing like that
Ea/origin is dumb as hell
They send me mail telling me I can play bfv today by buying it
Roger that
If I wanted to record something in the game would the best software be OBS?
Please ping me
Ya obs is good @vestal oasis
Anyone else got an issue where they unlock the next gun and it says it will unlock next round? I've had the bren unlocked for a bunch of rounds but I can't enable it
Should be fixed once you complete a game now
I have significantly better framerate with DX12, but every benchmark I saw was saying the opposite, that DX11 has better frames.
With a GTX 1070
Am I the only one,
?
This is probably old news, but spotted on Reddit: "We're currently working on delivering an update alongside the Tides of War Chapter 1: Overture release on December 4th that should resolve many of the issues we are experiencing."
My bf5 won’t work
I’m re installing to see if it works
It says I’m Playing it but I’m not
Restart Origin as Admin
Disable all overlays [ especially Discord ]
Reinstall Origin [not the game but Origin client ]
Why discord overlay breaks it?
Definitely discord overlay
and
its massively fucky
but for starters and helping to narrowing down the problem, i suggest you to completely quit discord and try launching game
It says 7 percent
make sure Origin is the only app running, restart PC before u do so
and run origin as Admin
Thanks
@wicked wren battlefield 1 or 5? BF1, its runs like ass on my 1070 too
dx12*
dx11 is alright
paired with an 4770k @4.3ghz, 4x4gb 2.4ghz if that matters
@queen field strangely I feel like DX12 is better on my setup, and I'm running 1070 too
mb if i missed out on which bf i played, its battelfield 1 that runs like ass with dx12
i get microstuttering, weird shit happening in game like fps would drop outta sudden
basically it runs like ass as i mentioned before
bf4 runs flawlessly well with dx11, didnt bother with mantle and i doubt nvidia gpu's can run mantle? I may be wrong with that
a question
if i use fast sync, will I be able to use fps above 60? (my monitor's 60hz
i have gtx 1060 6gb
Well if your monitor refreshes only 60 times per second...
I mean, if you push higher frames than your monitor can handle in Hz, you'll get a big bad case of screen tearing
no, fast sync is a poor man's gsync/fresync
and basically v sync, capping to ur monitor refresh rate
however with reduced input latency
so no non screen tearing above 60fps for me ever? (unless i buy a new monitor)
:(((((
Even if you go above 60fps, the monitor will still only show you 60 frames per second. Game would react faster to your inputs though?
so im trying to reinstall my intel drivers for my i5 8600k , but when i install it, it says "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software please help
storage?
nope
thats the only thing i can think of that will cause problems

you need some other drivers first
intel is dumb like that
IEM or whatever it's called
what drivers tho
@floral pilot tbh I didn't update my drivers for my 8600k and I'm fine
uzi, i think nick was talking to aksel
o
bf has always been a complete system check
I'm on the 4/21/2009 driver for my 8600k
but bf1 compared to bfv, i wouldnt know, i dont own it, but saying it just launched i would say wait for optimizations before assuming one thing or another
BF1 is leagues easier to run than BFV
BFV is fucked right now
Also you don't need CPU drivers unless you are going to use the iGPU (for encoding, etc)
@steep gust nah i just wanted to check if reinstalling would make a difference
im dealing with fps thats not good
cant get 80 with my i5 8600k and a gtx 1080
no
@floral pilot Look into overclocking
I run my 8600k at 5.0ghz and its much nicer
what cooler
yessir
imagine owning a 120mm AIO
You can get some thick 120mm radiators that are almost equal to a 240mm
If you don't know what you are doing, I would just sync all cores in the BIOS
im gonn get a 280mm AIO soon
thanks!
@calm crown i have a 120mm AIO lol
lmao for reakl
but my cpu doesnt OC
i got it on sale for like 50 bucks
i like how it looks vs a fat ass cpu cooler
Its also loud as fuck
my 120mm is definitely not the loudest of my stuff
i like it loud
My H100i (240mm) is impossible to hear in most games but my CPU is a golden chip
MUH RaDio, BeliEvE Me. I liKe It LouD
the coilwhine from my gpus is the loudest thing in my system
I mean I always listen to music while playing games so 🤷
spotify app is so shit
if I have it as my active window my screen's saturation changes
you can download .exe without trojans?
that is newto me
whats safe to oc it to?
Depends on the CPU
same as you
how are u having issues with spotify without trojans?
Mine can do 5.3ghz at 1.4v
where do u download from? YT?
about 1 googolplex hertz
"hey goo goo
i mean, thats reported right
how do i go into bios?
those numbers are only tested with delidded cpus
It should say at the bottom when the motherboard logo is up
yeah no delid
5.3ghz @1.4v 🤷
wtf they sell cpus on the website
i wonder when we will see the first THz transistor
in 2005 or something they already reached 600ghz
not talking about a full cpu, just one transistor
You might be able to do a single transistor on an exotic element
but that means nothing
I replaced my motherboard and need to push my CPU again
but eh work
So 4.3hz?
Does your motherboard have multi core enhancement?
If so just enable that and get a 4.3ghz overclock
Yeah sure
I got dms off can you accept?
Is optimization being worked on yet?
LooooooooooooooooooL ya no
Ea plz
Most likely yes
It's been 11 days
Its a major holiday
weekends
Maybe get sumtang
oh right game launched, welp, rip game, ded game from now
I'd rather they pushed out another small patch to fix the issues they have fixed rn
Like the big issues
Like me being stuck at lvl 50....
use the web app
Anyone else experience this:
About 130 fps, but then i look at my task manager, and my CPU and GPU don't go above like 70% usage :/
@red ingot i personally dont see level progressing being stuck as a major problem
and annoyance sure
but something that fucks with in game gameplay imo is more of a concern
or general optimization
well
okay fair
but i mean people are having infinite loading screen bugs, weapon sight alignment bugs, games not ending, assignments not working, etc.
those are gaming breaking imo
exactly, work on those
but yeah fair not game breaking
true
i just dont understand how they only built progression up to lvl 50
which i got to in like 35h
are you good?
i'd say im average
i just want my
35h is a ton of time
you will taper off im sure after this
even if there were 200 lvls?
35hours is a lot for casual gamers
well imaging playing 1-2 hours / day or so
Snutten is just a god
xD
i feel like the hours played listed in bf is only time spent in a match
so not in menus
and campaign yeah
my stats suck, since first bf game i have played, but today 4 rounds with about 4 k/d
o:
2.39 kd op
i wish it showed spm in that big stat page tho rather than having to go to statistics
imo spm > kdr in bf
and like for me rn i don't start my new job till january so right now my only obligations is finishing school, which occupies maybe 2h of my day
so if i sleep 8h i literally have 16h to do other stuff, 2h classwork, 14h of free time
no
stay with us
Idiet
rip
unless you live near a damn microcenter
ive been following my monitor

There's a 1TB Evo 860 for just 130 dolla on amazon

i just want that sweet sweet 970 evo
apparently with that u can boot into windows faster than your monitor turns on
Im hyped for December 8th

Poe master rework is bigdick

Leaguemechanic im kind of avoiding
what do you guys think of i5-8600K with an ASUS ROG Strix z390-H mobo
👌
the H type is basically like the E-type but with no RGB lighting
i have 1 question
just to confirm the i5-8600K does take Version 2 of LGA1151?
RGB is just another thing that can break
but it looks so sexy
and everyone knows rgb makes ur pc run faster
no compatibility issues per pcpartpicker
i have a Corsaire H100i cooler that has rgb corsair logo. it works fine but the blue light is burnt out
that sucks
the color blue gives the 2nd most fps boost
i have mine on blue to keep my pc nice and cool
hmm, further testing is needed
basic
does changing the colour to red increase heat?
yea, buts its the fastest
i feel blue makes your computer sad
i have orange theme
making your computer feel like slitting its' wrists
oorange is cool
what do you goys think of g.skill memory
i like it
i've had my g skill for like 5 years now no issues
and my computer is happy even tho it's blue 😄
cause it's nice and cool
i'm probably gonna get 2x8GB trident Z sticks
i will only buy corsair or gskill ram
and i try not to get corsair stuff since everyone gets corsair
its basic
corsair vengence is good price but their Dominator ram is pricey
like red builds
true
SHOTS FIRED
i just like corsair (for peripherals at least) just cause i've had them from day 1 no issues
red used to be my favorite color, till i realized its a shit ton of peoples favorite color, so thats why i went orange
so why switch? plus i've heard tons of bad stuff about razer/Logitech peripherals
I have a Corsair 750D case
idk just what i've heard + my corsair mouse lasted me like 8 years (and i mean still going strong, but said fuck it why not upgrade)
keyboard still working fine too
i had my corsair m60 for like 1-2 years and scroll wheel started messing up
btw i'm gonna be making the switch to Intel from AMD
their stuff imo is not the best value either
but that was a minor thing for me
yeah i guess
although I got this mouse on sale for $40
regular $90
my g pro is bygones better than my m60
want a new keyboard but they're all like $200... on sale - like $250 regular
see..
going from an AMD FX8320 to an Intel i5-8600X I should notice a big boost in performance
yeah
corsair is like asus, they just charge more
true
pay for the brand name
but i mean if i get it all corsair then i can just use one utility rather than five
you can get a fully modular keyboard for less than that
ASUS makes the best motherboards
me link?
yea thats me
can get a 9700k for $350....
i have a Corsair k63
depends what you want, imo i would put one together
it's tenkeyless
or 8700k for $340
do you like TKL?
$10 more for 9700k? they perform similar..
yes
sometimes HT works
pay the $10 and be done with it
ebay has 15% off sitewide today
O.o
https://www.pcgamingrace.com/products/gmmk-full-customized
GMMK, modular switches, pick whatever you want and just pop them in
tkl is tenkeyless
without numpad on the right
ohh ok
GMMK comes with both options
i have TKL at work that im using right now with kailh brown switches, looking to switch aliaz switches into it though
i mean i never really use the numpad on the side but i feel like it's a nice option to have..
