As explained by the post from dice, future frame rendering sends the data for the next frame to the gpu While the gpu is drawing a previous frame. This makes the gpu work efficiently and you get higher fps. Having this off means that the next instructions will be sent to the gpu after it has done rendering the previous frame. Making for lower fps but it will use the most up-to-date game data meaning less input lag

Hey everyone. I have an issue with my game, and it's a pretty difficult if not impossible one to figure out. When I played the beta, it was on an older PC. This worked perfectly. I have since gotten a newer PC which I put together myself, it will not connect to EA's servers in the menu. It never connects. It's like I have no internet at all, but I do. I have good ping, I have very fast speeds.

I decided to take my graphics card, put it into the older PC, and run the game from that. Same wireless receiver, same router, same location, and the game works flawlessly. It connects, I played a couple minutes, no problem. Before doing this, I've gone through what feels like an endless back and forth with tech support, offering fixes that didn't work.

  • Run as admin
  • Flush DNS
  • Clear Origin cache
  • Repair BFV
  • Reinstall BFV
  • Reinstall Origin & BFV
  • Delete the Documents folder
  • UPnP
  • DMZ
  • ..And likely more things I even forgot

My motherboard has its own wireless receiver, but I don't use it. I don't know if that can be a problem. I have run the UOTrace utility on both computers and see near identical results. Desperate for an answer, this has been many hours of hard work.
