I don't know if I can ask here I'm looking for decent notebook to play game especially BFV and my friend told me "Acer Predator Helios 300(PH315-51 2018 model – Core i7-8750H, Nvidia GTX 1060, 144 Hz screen)" should be fine so I'm going for it. @rose eagle the issue with ryzen first gen is that it had memory controller issues so the 1600 has issues OCing to 4.0, while the 2600 isn't as bad. the 8600k however is a crazy good value for an intel cpu, 6 core 6 thread coffee lake that goes on sale for less than $200 a lot. It's a masterpiece

just keep in mind that what you posted as dx12 not 11, so if and when dx12 becomes easier to use devs might choose to not support older ones as dx12 unlike dx11 requires the developer to code for each processor and gpu that will be used.

If I run bf1 fps limited to 200, I'm mostly on the range 100-110fps. But if I limit it to 100fps, it barely stays at 100, but keeps cycling through 97 to 100. Shouldn't it stay solid 100 if I'm above that without limiting the fps? Any ideas what's going on?

My GPU plays at around 60-70 degrees when not overclocked, but can go to 80 when oc, so I need to have loud fans. Very annoying so I just leave it as it is.
