Titan V, SLI 1080tis barely work because of bandwidth limitations unless you're using an i9
not to mention that with sli you technically only get a small boost over a single card, which ranges from 20-50% of the second card on average.
Plus a game would have to support SLI, which a lot dont fully enable since it's such a small minority of people with them, they just leave it on single card mostly.

This being said, it takes years to see it. I can grab my documents later about it, I wrote a 1800 page research study for running home botnets and the system degradation overtime and how it inhibits AI learning ability.
@silk echo If you aren't planning on OC then don't get an 8700k, you're paying a ton extra for the ability to OC, you will also want to OC both the GPU and CPU if you're planning on running an ultrawide. Really with ram, 3200 isn't much more expensive, most cases its at lost $20 more for 16gb 3200mhz.

I tend to stick to EVGA and Corsair, but seasonic is very good. I jsut don't like them for their insanely bad customer service when dealing with a company like mine and telling us we need to pay all shipping fees to their factor for RMA... It was $4000 in shipping fees plus they didn't refund the components that got fried due to a rare manufacturing defect aka, first gen PSU with different internal pins than the cables in the box. That's not an issue you should ever worry about as that's just something I've never personally seen until that one product line of pre release PSUs.
Antec and FSP PSUs range from "best in class" to "sets your house on fire... Literally" hence why they are on my never buy list.
Then some companies go through the larger manufacturers, for instance, be quiet! PSUs are made by seasonic, not be quiet!

980ti was Maxwell's (that is the name of the previous generation architecture) flagship chip and the 1070 is the current gen upper-middle-class or low-upper-class card 😃 even the jump to a 1080 would not really be worth it. Only a 1080ti may be considered as worth upgrading to however since the new generation is just around the corner and your GPU is still bad-ass I would not really upgrade my GPU right now in your position

4,7 is a low overclock - I am sure that if the CPU is delidded and your cooling is decent you would easily be able to hit 5 GHz since 90% of the chips can achieve that

that is right though 😉 the difference between 4,7 GHz and 5 GHz in games are just about 2-3% I guess

and even with a 5.0 I cant hit the 240 easily on games like bf1 on the xf250q
my storage is abysmal though
but its not like I need anything super high tier since an 850 evo is already bottlenecked in games
got my whole rig on 850 evo SSDs and I really cannot complain 😃 8-9 seconds and my system has booted and in every game I am one of the fastest with loading times
I just want 1tb nvme drives in this system as a ego thing
but I dont need them
So instead of buying those I'm buying something I'll use
a sennheiser HD 800
months of saving just to piss away $1500 on some headphones
