Ghosting isn't as bad but still there, not noticeably to most people. It's more of an issue of the input lag with its weird gtg timings over coloring.

If I ever get free time I need to redo smt on the VA panel to get accurate readings.

@mint pendant always check the qvl from the mobo manufacturer. If youre intel you shouldnt have issues 99% of the time, amd how ever is another story. I sold my r5 1600 because I had so many issues, turned out the ram didnt work with either the processor or the motherboard. The product codes are normally listed in the titles.

I have had issues with ram compatibility before with intel, but that was mostly from smaller manufacturers like geil over corsair and g.skill

adding ram usually won't change anything. I haven't seen any of my games use more than 6. The benefits of more ram comes when you have to render video, mostly 4k video. I have 32 gigs in my system, do a lot of video editing, and have never used anywhere near my limit.

If you don't have a Z170 or Z270, I'd upgrade to either a 6700 or 7700. 7700 is marginally better but it's not worth a whole lot. You wouldn't need an aftermarket cooler with either of these. If you do have a Z170 or Z270 then you can upgrade to a 6700k or 7700k and get an aftermarket CPU cooler and then overclock
