Yes, basically when the game gets an update the tool needs aswell an update (sometimes worked without needing an update). But it is inconsistent since if the tool crashes the game closes automatically. Even if u stop or close it, it also closes the game. So there's inconsistencies here and there

It depends on what part of the tools crash. There didn't use to be an imGUI window and it could crash without affecting the game since it's separated and would just need you to launch the tools again 👍
The console thing being an instance of the game is more likely a technical limitation but it does look like an issue to the average in-game photographer. I don't know if there's a workaround but I believe there's hardly any from my experience.
The old tools with classic window separated from the game's UI have its own benefits and there's a reason I prefer the classic version.

Cinematic Tools are the only real option, spectator is disabled for the closed alpha. Otherwise you can disable hud and try take pictures that way

The animator went pretty nuts with that gun. We actually had to tone it down a lot because it was to flashy and was getting in the way of it looking good while shooting.

I'm sure some were removed, either cause they didn't look good or there wasn't time to polish it into a shippable state. There's other things that can be done like reduce the frequency those animations play or split an animation into multiple parts so it's easier to interrupt.

Not the playermodels, no. Those were pre-set examples. Guns on the otherhand such as the MP40 and Gewehr 43 seemingly got random skins every now and again when spawning in with one, similarly tanks had a chance to feature customisation options upon spawning such as flags or miscellaneous items.

How is a console better then a PC? There are people in the world who just want to play a game in their free time without 100 things they need to think about when getting a PC. Also a console is super affordable meanwhile a PC you get 2 parts and you are at 400 with a good build. Let's not forget a PS4 is also much easier to transport and user friendly.
If you mean a console will be less good at playing games at a higher quality/fps then a PC of 1000/1500 Euro sure but that is because hardware is totally different.
You just can't compare a PC and PS4 because in the end there are 2 different consumers: A fanatical gamer who wants the best out of their games he/she can get and you have the consumer who plays a game and just wants to play with their mates and have fun once in a while.

Cinematographer mode just means a different controller layout for people who want to take screenshots/videos. Broadcaster is the other controller layout for people who want to do things like shoutcasting for tournaments so they can switch between players a lot faster.
Splitting them up gives us a lot more room to add things in the future and not have to make compromises to please both sides.
