They're usually through the BFV clubs.

#

I personally find that it doesn't work very well, so I'm waiting for this BFV server to implement a function to allow us to advertise for our platoons.

#

Otherwise, there is also a platoon based Discord server that I'm in that organizes and gathers many platoons, so I could mention you to the heads of that server if you're interested. There are over 100 members in the sever that organizes many people into their respective platoons.

#

However, there are almost always advertisements at the bottom of the BFV Club's "Searching for games" section.

#

So if you sift through those advertisements and put an interest in, you're probably bound to find one.

#

It's funny. I was playing Pacific Storm on Breakthrough once, and I was in an LVT. I had gotten significantly damaged by a Type 97, so I hid on the side of a hut repairing, and the Attackers took the sector, and had already moved up to the next one, and as I had gotten done repairing, I failed to notice the AT MINE literally an inch away from my treads that someone left before I even went to the hut, and I moved an inch and exploded.

Well, once you get a significant amount of people recruited, consider trying to find low-populated servers in your region to start off. If you're in the US, those servers will fill up fast after you get your people joining them.

@inland basin haha nice history, it used to be pretty much trash but now there are so many reasons to buy over playstation, first of all xbox game pass, with over 200 games, witcher wild hunt, all microsoft exclusives day 1, metro exodus, and now even on pc. One other thing is the streaming your console to your pc from xbox app, it's really useful when you're parents are jacked up on the tv. One other amazing thing about xbox is the one x has much better performance then the ps4 pro which makes it much smoother, also xbox exclusives are slowly improving, they aren't really exclusives anymore because xbox wants to open their platform and not keep it locked in like Sony, where they are just trapped.
One other thing love about xbox is how much progress they have made, sometimes I think "are they even making profit" because there are so many deals like the one right now where if you get xbox game pass ultimate for 1 dollar (xbox live gold included and game pass console + pc + gears 5 ultimate edition and the subscription merges with your current subscriptions so let's say you have 3 months gold and 3 months game pass, the subscription is going to merge that so you are going to have 7 months of game pass ultimate) and you get all of that AND you get 6 months spotify premium, 3 months discord nitro and 1 month ea acess (lots of ea games in there like battlefield 5 and anthem). Even though I am a ps4 person I am looking forwad to switching to xbox soon because I can be saving so much money right now. I dont really like story games so I'm not a big fan of ps4 exclusives. BFV had a TTK change, or more accurately, a "range balance." Now weapons are limited to specific set ranges. With some guns, bullets suddenly have huge damage drop off after say 10-20m beyond the range it's intended to work.

#

Since most engagements seem to be beyond the 20m kill marker, the game play feels pretty spongy unless you happen to have the right gun at the right time.

#

At say, 30-50 meters the Thompson now does like 5 to 8 damage per bullet. Because it's apparently designed for 15m-ish engagements.

#

The previous TTK with higher recoil would have also accomplished this range problem.

I'm probably going to read some books, play guitar, or R6S or something for a while. It's pretty annoying to engage people outside of a weapon's "intended range," at least for me. I would suggest trying it out first to see if you like it though.

I personally don't like the increase to the Player Acquisition Icons either. Feels too arcade. But that's a personal preference that doesn't impact game play as much. shrug Overall, I'm tired of DICE/EA just walking on the core players. So I'm putting the game down for a while.

It's an automatic system that pops up only for you within about 28m I think. A faded diamond at first, then becomes more visible the closer you get. A version of this already existed, it was just much, much closer.

I enjoy actually finding enemies with my eyes, so this just feels wrong and way too easy.
