Just watched a review from 3 years ago.
2142 does have a few cool features, I personally have kind of a Future Setting PTSD because of COD and GTAV the last couple of years.
So far I've only heard negative comments about BF 2142, and game magazines shouldn't really be trusted, see TLoU Pt. 2 winning almost everything at a game awards show while a ton, literally every die hard fan I've talked to so far, hates it, including me. Yeah, it does look good, it does have a ton of accessibility features, but it sure as hell didn't deserve all these awards.
But back to 2142, I'd love to try the game and play it for myself, I'm gonna have to do some research though, I heard that the servers got taken down - and I'm a console player.

  2. Run PBsv from the BF4 folder on your hardrive and tell it to install/update the program - restart your PC then try BF4.

  3. If it still doesnt work try running BF4 in the x64 mode (right click the game and select properties - should be able to pick run as x64 from there)
