I finally made it into the top 50 with the chauchat a few days ago

I use that for the same reason... rarely used, challenging

It’s actually pretty well rounded once you adjust to the recoil

Chauchat is the second least used gun though. I didn’t want to use the least used... the k31 sniper because I’ve seen videos showing that it’s actually broken.

The billets don’t actually go where your aiming a lot of the time. The video showed it going about a foot off where it was aimed standing still shooting at a box about 20 feet away

Im not exactly new and ive done very well on numerous occasions and im usually near or top scoring (depending on the match), but im having a lot of issues not only picking the LMG I want to use, but using some of them to their best effectiveness.

On maps like Suez Canal and other longer range maps, im usually in the open too long, even with a good position and the killtimes at those ranges is pretty awful, then I get shot by a sniper or sometmies even just another support player.

I like the Lewis Gun and BenetMercie a lot too but those have awful killtimes and im often being absolutely shredded by SMG players even if I fire first.

Ive tried the LMG08 and it seems really nice but I dunno, it just overheats so fast and the accuracy isnt exactly what I want. I would love to use the Lewis Gun but theres a lot of little things I dont like about it, if it was one or two I could deal with it but they stack up.

The low ROF means low kill times, it has the lower damage model for LMGs, the Low Weight version is the best but lacks the ammo of the suppressive which is inferior in stats in ALMOST every way and its hipfire isnt great.
