Is it me or is Assault in BFV ridiculously overpowered? in BF4 it was alright, dominating in close quarters. Same for BF1, except it had a rather overpowered gadget roster. In BFV Assault is conjunction of BF1 Assault and Medic, having best gadgets and best primary weapons. 90% of my deaths in BFV are from Assault.

Infantry rifles are just better

For one you don't have the weapon glare that enemies can see.

And while you can't go super long range, it's incredible for counter sniping for this reason

And with practice you can be just as effective as someone with a scope

I use the Lebel 1886 infantry with iron sights and do pretty damn good.

Countless times I've popped snipers with headshots with just my infantry rifle as they miss every shot. Not to flex or anything.

This happened in both CoD and Battlefield but an enemy aimlessly walked in front of me as I was about to shoot at two different guys in front of me and my aim just stuck to aimlessly walking guy and I died.

I've been thinking that conquest isn't really a mode that works as a concept in Battlefield anymore. It ends up just being a rat race between points and back caps, and you're almost never fighting a large portion of the enemy team. They need a lattice system or something at the very least to focus the action. For some reason though, it's still the most popular game mode.

I guess it's just more accessible to most players?

Conquest is really just people running from 1 end of a map to the other

i guess frontlines? that’s a two-directional but more linear mode

where everything is condensed into a single frontline objective and you just have the tug of war as you try to push into the enemy hq by capping progressive objectives

The CQC in battlefield is one of my favorites. I believe it can definitely be worked on more though

More outside run ins to flank, more underground scenarios in a way where you can go through alleys to get back up. Just more clear pathways to make exotic flanks.
