the aa was pretty fine, it's just that spitfires were shitting on them with their op rockets. once the spitfire was fixed, no issues with air vs ground would exist. now aa is the go to method to just dominate airspace. from the ground.

I play breakthrough alot.... so a big one is learning the maps... takes time... after you get familiar with the maps and where enemies tend to be, move, and where enemies tend to be watching helps

Bf5 is not a particularily bad shooter. It's decent. In some aspects it's even good, imho.

It has quite a few design flaws that its predecessors didn't have. Additionally, it's coined by the big broken promise that it was meant to be a ww2 game showing the whole war. Honestly a better fix for the bombs as a whole partaining to the pacific would be to reduce the damage of the 500s (40 per bomb 80 max), increase the one hit kill radius for the 1 tonne bomb and there. Done.
