also I don't play much for RTSs but I find having a mouse makes commanding troops a bit easier, if you ever played Diablo on console you'll know what I mean about using stick for mouse centric games being a bit awkward

its not necessarily bad, just not as efficient

though I will say one thing about battlefield on console and PC, I prefer flying on console, PC uses mouse and its a lot of picking up your mouse to be able to do any movement

since you can't really use JUST keyboard or use mouse more like a stick (having a center point to return your mouse to to have no input on motion and moving away from that point acts like moving a stick, the further from that point you get the faster you turn your jet)
