basically. dlss makes it so if you're playing on a 4k res, it would make it something like 1080p but then upscale it back to 4k. you'd get a huge boost in fps and due their upscaling techniques you wouldn't really notice any difference. it would have benefitted greatly due they also have rtx implementation, but that's pretty much not feasible on native res unless you have areally beefy pc

Here’s the thing, I wouldn’t even know where to start with putting together and maintaining a PC, it’s a ton of money and time for me, but I could just stick with a console with passable performance and not have to worry about the hassle

with the new nvidia cards, pc will likely pass consoles by again by the time the consoles come out. there's like a 100 fps difference between current gen (20xx) and next gen (3000) cards. consoles will likely have to compensate with rtx on in other areas. the benefit is that all consoles have the same specs, but that also means you can't really evolve after 2-3 years while pc continues to improve. you'd have to buy an entire new console to get performance gains (see ps4 vs ps4 pro) whereas with a pc it's just the matter of swapping out a component.

pretty much, badman. the entry price for pc feels steep. (around or less than 1000 or so you can have a decent rig that lasts for years). but if you ever need to upgrade it's less money than a new console. and you have the benefit to tweak your performance. if a game runs shit on console, you're stuck with it. on pc you can just lower the settings till it runs decent again and get a few more years out of your pc.

It seems since the most recent patch that Gobetrotter has become unachievable since they changed the Twisted Steel map from Uk vs Germany to US vs Germany. Meaning the platinum is no longer possible for anymore starting the game post update.

its 15 vs 28 on outpost and my team is a pretty sad bunch of level 15s, so i said fuck it and decided to dick around, an AA tank was camping down by the river spamming onto A so i stood next to it in a bush and called a bomb on him, ready to teabag once he got destroyed, so while im waiting for the bomb to get there, a level 300 sees me and drives a greyhound into the river, it somehow reemerges and runs me over killing me, then him and his buddy gets right back into it, coincidentally right next to the calliope and then the bomb arrives and i get 5 infantry kills and 2 tank kills
