The way team balancing works (as far as i have noticed) is that it’s basically even numbers on both sides. It randomly chooses a person on the spawn screen and takes them to the other team to make both teams even in numbers. That’s basically it...
thats what team balance does in bfv, but prob is, it works before the fact of lots of people in the server leaving
i think a huge part of the issue is when you leave at the end of round screen of the previous match, it takes so long to actually take you out that you load into the next game, so all the people who were gonna leave do so after the team balancer already kicked in

I've been thinking of doing it but with the current status of the community of Battlefield 4 i think I might be just considered as another USMC or ranger unit and I dont want that :/

i don’t think it necessarily does higher damage, but you’ve got a good chance to disable the turret if you hit it a couple times which means the tank will struggle to target you since the gun rotation is massively limited
