My problem with AA in a germany vs britain match was dealing with bombers just respawning once they died to just target aa with their largest bomb or try to make the ground an uneven hell

if i get caught out by someone who just stays in one position as infantry, i’ll quite often go back and knife them as revenge
or if there’s a field gun and you’re playing as a tank, it poses a large threat to you, so you’ll probably target that over troops on foot
both things apply to AA vs planes - it’s both a relatively easy target that just killed you, and basically the biggest threat to you, it would be kinda dumb to just ignore the flak hitting you and die

One time when I was playing panzerstorm, when Germany was still on offensive. An assault managed to get behind my stug, even though I was using it as artillery on the barn. My biggest grievance because I used to play tanks alot. Was the assaults who went out in the middle of the map just to kill the tanks. I get that it's best to stay with infantry support but that brings the other issue. Because those same people died alot to other infantry but would just do a flank and go behind the general populous of the meat shield to kill the tank with stickys, rockets, or anything

you do typically have to play a bit conservatively, you can’t just roll into an enemy objective and expect them not to hit you with a bunch of explosives, but if you play as a support vehicle, pushing up to a short ways outside the area or getting a bit of a flank to provide covering fire and take out some cover, hey can be very effective
but people camp miles away because they played super dumb once and obviously the logical step after “play super aggressively” is “play as an artillery piece”

It's been a long time since I played Battlefield 3 so I can't say much. But if you want a long range LMG then I personally go for the Perino. Great stability, takes a while to overheat, and great reload system that will prevent you from getting caught without ammo.

@rotund leaf For launch weapons, I found the Lewis Gun and Benet-Mercie to be well-rounded guns. With the BAR for close range. My personal favorite is the Perino though. It has a unique reload system where you load clips of 20 at a time. So it's great if you're in a pinch, but need a few rounds in the magazine to survive a close range encounter.
Remember that LMGs uses reverse spread. Meaning the longer you fire, the more accurate the shots become.

Bf1 is a way better than BfV, for campaign, graphics, physics, and in general for history.
Bfv fucked up the game line adding non senses histories as soldiers with cyber arms, women at army, just to give to the player certain points to feel included.

Personally I think the revive animation a great balance. Rambo reviving in previous Battlefield games is insane, especially in 1. In the next Battlefield game, I'd at least want it to be like Battlefield 4 where a quick revive gives the player less health, while a charged paddle revive will give them full health.
