Yo guys can someone help me with an issue?

I went in bf4 today and just played fine like always. I came home now like 4 hours later and launched bf4 as I'd usually do. I went to a server and pressed join game and it showed on top "Joining server" as always. Waited like 8 seconds and I'm still in the server selection menu and a new window pops up showing "Lost Connection to session", so I'm like okay.. But the "joining server" was still up there. Re-launched the game tried again on a different server, same issue.
At this point I updated punkbuster for bf4, completely closed off origin, re-launched it and clicked on battlefield 4 from origin and it for some random reason opens up battlelog for me..
