man i’ve had some great matches on Underground breakthrough, but i swear defending the final sector the same thing happens like 4 times out of 5
you hold the enemy off at the ticket office for a while, couple hundred tickets maybe, then they start getting runners through the lines. eventually a squad runs up the very outside of the map, starts capping the gov building, and it’s over instantly because no one is there and no ones falls back because they’re tunnel visioned.

Underground has a problem with flanking in that the damn tunnels are flooded like 70% of the time.
And attacking through the main tunnel isn't particularly easy either, as you run slower in the water and smokes don't work in it.
This only increases the defenders' advantage, which is already quite high.
Once the water goes down, things get more interesting.
Popped into the side tunnel to chase down a lone soldier right after the flooding was cleared, got met with two full squads coming the other way.
They had been waiting for the path to clear.

i notice (or i guess don’t notice) that people rarely swim through the flooded tunnels anymore - it used to be a lot more common, but it’s still a pretty effective route in breakthrough especially at the start of the second sector
if you can get through the tunnels to that little room with the health station on A with a good clearing weapon, you can go on a bit of a rampage through the first line of defence from the backside
got in there with a squadmate and a 12g auto and got probably 15 kills in less than a minute
