the main reason BF1 was so immersive was that 99% of players knew so little about ww1 so they had no expectations going in, that lead to a general education on that war and built a personal relationship with it that was completely controlled by DICE. with ww2 the opposite is true, its such a over subscribed war, so many books, movies, tv shows, games that when your average player didn't see those elements he/she identified them they felt kinda betrayed .. and gamers have zero patience with game developers, if its not in the first release its a massive fail so when dice spent half their budget on campaigns and release content that were very eurocentric, beginning of the war (like 2 roterdam maps) the community went wtf wheres muh dday

Like, let the first quit in the middle of the match for the day be without penalty (people have comittments that are more important than finishing a 30 minute Battlefield match after all). After that, do the quit penalty. Like resetting Assignment progression if you quit in the middle of the match. Or no EXP, no CC. Or maybe even a quit percentage to your profile (I think Bad Company 2 did that).

In my opinion in bf4

M416 or ACE 23 are good all around weapons. They have moderate rates of fire, good reload times, moderate recoil, and are generally versatile. They'll get outperformed by things like the AN-94 or AK-12 and medium/long range or the AEK-971 and FAMAS at close range, but they can still hold their own.
