yes you have to lead but unless they’ve changed it (which wouldn’t be unreasonable - i haven’t played for well over a year) it just has a circle where you have to hold the crosshair and fire

use the scope spotter in bfv atleast, check the range. now adjust your zeroing distance to that so your bullet hits. if you don't have zerooing on your sniper, just do test shots on the range you want to fire and hold your fire button to see where it hits

adjust your aim until you can land it perfectly where you're aiming at

#

kinda like that dunkirk scene where snipers were potshooting at the boat as practice. shoot at random stuff to figure out how much you need to adjust your aim for certainr anges 😄 at some point that will come with ease and you'll adjust your aim automatically

leading depends on rifle, but the majority of your kills as a sniper will be on targets who are stationary or moving slowly

You can regenerate I think up to 30 HP, to fully heal you need bandages.

When you spawn, you have bandages. Medics can throw you a bandage and you can get them from medical stations.

Actually works really well and you can still lone wolf as long as you take objectives considering there is always a medic station in or around the objective

It does kinda punish the players that just camp on a hill unless they have a medic crate or ammo crate from a medic or support

You kinda don't notice it if you PTFO

iirc, in the alpha (and maybe beta), you didn't even spawn with bandages, you needed to go to a medic station or a medic needed to give you them.

I'm not a big fan of 4 tbh. and that's mostly related due map design. they're just not fun or good to look at. atleast bf3 had interesting settings and stuff. in 4 every map starts to feel the same after a while. the gameplay definitely improved in 4 compared to 3, but map design it took a deep dive and turned into mostly filler maps

They can just pop ECM and hide in the buildings until it recharges, but not before utterly obliterating whoever had the audacity to fire at them.

And if you do somehow land a hit, they'll just land on an isolated skyscraper and have it repaired within half a minute.
