this is somewhat unrelated but i think one of the biggest underlying problems with the sequel trilogy is that core stuff is sort of violated/ignored for the sake of what is essentially a cool visual effect or some deep imagery

the expansion of the swbf2 campaign did play into that somewhat

mostly with the first order stormtroopers - because they are humanised (that opening scene in TFA with the bloody handprint, and just Finn in general) and victimised (the whole plot point from the campaign which is mentioned a couple times in the movie, that the troopers are essentially stolen from their families as infants and brainwashed and trained as soldiers)

but then... they’re not

it’s basically used for some brief impact and then ignored

Okay, keep in mind that if you have a community game of just two people, then it will just be in the pre-round.

In the Pre-Round, kills and deaths won't be tracked so you'll have to do it yourself.

I highly suggest you guys use either Squad Conquest or Team Deathmatch layouts

i was getting swarmed in tank and fighting off all enemies aggressively pushing, and my teammates was just sitting there being fucking bots not attempting to shoot anyone

Anything above those would be too huge for 1v1s. imo the best set-up for 1v1ing is Rotterdam TDM

If he does so using Origin, PS4 or Xbox UI, it'll put him on your squad

There's a Social Tab which is located on the right side of the screen of the main menu, if he pulls that up and selects your name, the option to show the game info should be present

If he goes to game info and press join, he will join the opposite team

If it doesn't show up then this is what happens, he joins your squad and then you leave. You should be brought to the game info page for your own server, just press join and you should be put on the opposite team

I do this all the time to take my cinematic images
