the biggest issue with grand ops imo is that it doesn't feel much different from the other modes. it's just glorified playlists. first airborne exclusive to grands op and the one of the only things that sets it apart. then breakthrough or rush wahtever, then conquest and then last stand if both teams suck. you could make grand ops in custom servers if you feel so desire and have a global voice narrate a snippet of the wiki pedia page and it's the same thing. atleast in ops in bf1 it kept the battle to one map. lost a round? then maybe you get reinforcements to try for one last push etc. and it affected which map you were going next based on whether you won or lose.
