they added ranges to bfv guns. effective ranges. stay in it and you get the 5.0 like experience, go outside it and you'd be needing a lot more bullets. problem was that the range drop off was very short for majority of the guns
so it could feel a bit like shooting nerf darts at a certain range

we had three theatres in bfv. it ain't too bad considering most games tend to only focus on one or two. fall of europe (which isn't covered a lot by popular media) north african theatre (also fairly unused in popular media) and the pacific. they were a nice breath of fresh air, even though most people just wanted to same old theatres they get from other games already.
