I think the reason you might enjoy bf1 more thna bfv is because the settings are more late warish. lot of maps in bf1 are more wartorn. which makes sense cause they take place way later in the war. BFV on the other hand went from a more chronological approach to their game and started off with ton of early war battles where the bigger damage comes from players themselves. players create the atmosphere and turns the maps into a wartorn environment.
