I find that I actually succeed with the Archer in scenarios directly opposing its given role.
Specifically, assaulting them at extremely close range.
Using the upgraded engine, I can basically bum rush them and hit them where it hurts before they have time to react.
With a ram from the right angle, I can even wedge my gun under there and hit that sweet bottom armour.
All that speed is plenty good for infantry, too.
If someone comes out with dynamite, I can just drive off in either direction.
Because it moves so fast, it's not uncommon to end up running them over.
