the ranged smgs suffer from being worse than the other classes automatic options at those ranges
so it makes more sense to go hard on the high rof high mag smgs, where the other classes also don't have weapons that can compare: assault has the m1907 but it has a low mag size and long reload and support has the bar but again, low mag size
support gets shotguns but if they dont kill the smg user on the first shot they lose, and the enemy can't be behind cover for the needed amount of pellets to hit them
also less range than the smgs
the only things the 50 mag smgs suffer from is lower accuracy which can be mitigated through single firing
high mag size, high rof, high reload speeds, high reserve ammo, good hipfire good ads times etc
and medic gets smoke spam along with infinite self heals and reviving others
they have (incredibly) limited gadget choice but gadgets really aren't that powerful in this game
and tbh infinite revives and self heals are basically stronger gadgets in the first place
going up against 5 medics is hell from the sheer bullet volume and that if you fail to kill all of them a single one of them will revive them all
supports the zerg rush tactics
medics also have extra knowledge of enemy location by seeing the revive markers on all teammates
if someone flanks your team and kills one dude on the way you'll see the revive symbol and know theres an enemy back there somewhere

Sounds obvious, but you have to equip it. If you already did that, then it's possible that a Platoon emblem is overwritting your personal emblem.
