@main grove Yeah, I'd love more French weapons. MAS 38 would make a great Medic SMG as you suggested. For bolt-action rifles, the MAS 36 would make an excellent Recon weapon - should be a fast-cycling, iron sight-oriented weapon like the Lee-Enfield. I imagine stats-wise it would be similar to the MAS 44/Turner SMLE comparison, with a higher velocity round but smaller magazine.

I would note that Post Scriptum accidentally modeled the postwar version of the MAS 36 instead of the wartime one though (a bunch of visual differences, including iron sights). The Lebel was also still in common WW2 service, if they wanted to port that in from BF1. In terms of Medic carbines, the Berthier, Lebel R35 (for that glorious reload animation), or MAS 36 CR39 could all be options
