i think the problem is that people generally want stuff fast. working towards stuff isn't seen as fun anymore, it's all about the reward itself these days. BFV's been pretty generous with its tow so far. you can reach the end of it halfway through the allotted time. whereas in fortnite i had to play every day and do the dailies, do the weeklies, cause if you missed out on a week or a day, you basically had no time to grind out the last few levels. it tied its last chapter waay too tight to its final week. in bfv it's not a big deal if you quit playing for a few weeks, you usually can still reach it in plenty of time

eh, i don't see guns in battlefield as a pay to win item imo. a pay to win item would be something that's only really achievable through real world payment. if you're a person that doesn't want to spend money, there is essentially no way to obtain it. ToW weapons can be gotten at the end for cc, you can play the game normally for it to unlock or you can just pick it up from a dead guy (i did this with the greasser/bar and 2a when i didn't unlock it yet) so you're never really locked out from the gun. weapons also don't really hold an advantage as it's supposed to have flaws and quirks. you're not better if you're holding a type 100 or a bar for example. And maybe you don't prefer to kind of playstyle and stick to your other guns. 2a is just an outlier, where it feels annoying strong, but also because everyone unlocks it in the same week and plays with it. if it's in a tow, people will gradually unlock the guns and not completely flood the servers with it

@mystic garden learn the maps. getting killed from 360 degrees is a map awareness issue. once you learn the general routes people take, the flanking stuff and where people tend to go prone and hide, you can pre fire certain areas, keep your eyes on where people might be coming from if you're walking around. also, don't run all the time, especially in heavy traffic areas. keep an ear out for sound, you can often hear a guy coming before actually seeing them.

smokes are your key to survival. use them for revives, obscuring people's view that are killing your buddies, creating artifical cover to get close. ads isn't really needed with smgs, just hipfire them. try to get close to people before firing. use cover and flanks to shorten the gap between you and your enemies
