Honestly. Its just annoying that guns have no range. The advantage that the m1907, fg42 and BAR had was that they had better damage drop off range compared to subbies.

Submachine guns were alright in that regard. They ARE close range guns and they had the recoil to put off longer ranged use. If you can snipe someone with it (30-40M) thats fine.

Its a 8HK and thats fair enough

But doing the same thing with other weapons and removing the recoil that balanced them is just too far.

Yeah. You could say the same for the 1907, Fg42 and BAR. But you're not a medic. As i said what made them different from subbies was that they had greater ranged damage. You couldnt contest with medics just as well due to their infinite healing (and what it feels like faster draw time)

eh, i just think all the guns had too much range. you were giving too much leeway and use them for further ranges than that they were intended for. you'd end up with people using semi autos as snipers etc. it's just weeeird and i wouldn't know how to balance 5.0 for that. 5.2 has imo more potential ;D
