day of infamy also only featured the commonwealth vs germany. it's not needed to make only one faction that will be used for only one map imo. french as we knew then were pretty much erased after dunkirk. you had vichy french and the resistance forces that became free france. bfv launch perspective was mostly on focused on british. probably because they were the ones that had a fight or helped a fight pretty much anywhere during ww2. africa, europe, even small parts of pacific due the colonial forces etc. it makes sense they just used brits for all the early war maps, so i wouldn't see it as a problem if they were also representing the remaining forces during dunkirk.
we also have some french outfits and even a french character for the allies already, so just use those and roleplay as a french squad ;D

Last night I had a great time as the little Japanese tank. Enemy team hated me and called me a hacker. At one point they pushed with 3 tanks onto where I was, and I killed 2 of them before the third killed me. Love it.
