@faint plover AP technically has higher damage and higher velocity, but you have to hit enemy tanks at totally flat angles to get the high damage; HESH has low impact damage but as long as it doesnt bounce it'll blow up a moment after impact and do a bunch of damage, so HESH is way more consistent in exchange for lower velocity and max damage

@solid hinge Tommy gun requires less shots to kill (4 up close instead of 5), it can be upgraded to either faster rpm or bigger mag size (of which both are better than the type100 respectively), and it has a faster reload time

The type100 is more of an "easy" gun to use in the sense that it has low recoil, decent accuracy, and fast enough ttk for an smg

oh and it has better muzzle velocity
