the biggest difference bf1 has is instant spotting. you just spam q and people lit up like christmas trees. you didn't even have to see them yourself. in bfv you're force to actually watch your screen for movement
if the bfv gave me the option to turn all the hud off with exception for markers for friendlies and stuff, i would do it in a heartbeat. in bf1 you can't really do that as that would just give you a severe disadvantage compared to those that use spotting and stuff.

I think BF 1 was horrible. Before that I had played BF3 and it felt like BF1 was so awful game and huge downgrade. Slow TTK just made the game so casual. You were able to just run through the fields and not get killed. Hardcore mode was actually decent, but basic mode felt unplayable. It was like throwback to first battlefield BC. I remember that game had a super slow TTK.
In battlefield 5 fast TTK forces you to play smart. First 10 hours I just got butchered. After that I adapted my playstyle and started to like the game. In BF5 you cant get good stats by just running around like a headless chicken. You actually have to think what you are doing. I feel like I can use the tactics I learned in military, especially in Firestorm mode.
I just wish this game had more content on the release. I played it like 100 hours after release and got bored.
