VA gets 8 x .303s for high burst damage and a couple of 250lb bombs that are difficult to aim, along with an air radar. VB gets 8 rockets that shoot in pairs and 2 x 20mms along with 2 x .50 cals, nitro and maintenance drills for faster repairs
G6 has 2 x .50cals along with a nose mounted explosive 20mm and either 2 timed fuse rockets or higher agility, while the G2 gets two nose mounted .303s and 2 x 20mms, along with air radar, higher agility and rockets
imo the mosquito is the best for strafing because it has 4 x .303s and they're all nose mounted
even better if you get the nose mounted 4 x 20mms
strafing in general isnt the most effective
which is why having rockets on your fighter is so good
