bc after you fire a shot, the game has to randomly pick an angle where spread will "roll your shot" towards
animate the gun to move towards that spot
and apply normal recoil to that
not to mention that horizontal recoil is also random
so you pick two random numbers to roll your shot towards, then apply a third dimension of movement

if you set the 600 RPM StG in full auto and apply a 10 click per second macro to it
the gun still performs identically
but you'll notice that it's so much more stable to use
bc your gun doesn't apply spread to recoil
also no recoil pattern

Yeah forcespread and bullet deviation makes alot more sense, I think another thing is just communicating that to the player as well

But since the whole system is built around no initial spread it doesnt really work

yeah, the reason you can "break" spread to recoil conversion is that there's no way to convert your initial base spread to recoil
i mean you could with weapon sway, but idt anyone wants that, and base spread is so low and initial weapon sway is pretty negligible
