They probably wanted to put 5v5 in BFBC3 which is why they put Incursions in BF1, because maybe BFBC3 was meant to be released after BF1. Then some management probably took BFBC3 and put it to release with new gen consoles. Now devs were forced to do WW2 immediately after starting to create a modern game. Devs, both frustrated and tired of WW2, went with something else. BFV was rushed, and wasn’t how the community wanted it to be. Devs got more frustrated when the backlash came, and devs got EVEN more frustrated when bugs returned.
